Oh thank god!

I knew that, I just wasn't thinking when I read this!

Errr...guys...apply salt to the above report. With the exception of Stargate Atlantis, which is a real show in development, all of the others sound pretty phoney.

If this is an April Fool joke, we're going to look back at "Suture Girl" and just laugh! Until they actually do it next year.

I dunno if it's a prank. If it is, it's a good one. I work at a newspaper, and I saw a wire service picked up their press release and put it out over the Associated Press stream. (Not as an AP article, but it still went out wide.)

Hope it turns out to be; some wire jockey'll have egg on their face for sure...!

No joke, folks. The source on it was Media Week; a pretty respected storehouse of info.

Besides, I know Stargate: Atlantis is a real project (I used to be a casual Stargate fan back in the day, but even *I* don't think I'll be able to stomach a spinoff.)

'Fraid we're stuck with that lineup. I'd heard about Sci Fi moving away from "space" science fiction, but this cheesy reality series and Dead Zone times 10 stuff is pretty lousy.

When will the Sci Fi channel realize that one quality program is better than 10 lousy ones? Look at The Dream Team; they advertised the heck outta that dreck, and it made it, what, 4 episodes?

Who do they think there going to get onboard with Sci-fi shows that don't hold water. You can't make a hit without good ideas and great People behind each one who care about the genre there working in. Makes you want to give up don't it?

You can't say they'll all suck, really. Just take into concideration the idea of Joss' shows. Hmm....a blonde chick runs around fighting vampires....sounds like a piece of crap to me. Ended up being one of the greatest shows on TV. A vampire with a soul? That's got cheese written all over it. How about a show that's constantly refered to as a "Sci-fi western"? Space cowboys. That's just a terrible idea. It all depends on who is running it. Admit it. If Joss were running any of the shows mentioned, any one of them could potentially be the best show on TV. Even Sature Girl. So considering I don't know who any of those writers are, I'm not gonna say anything bad about the shows. I hope my rant made at least a little sense. Doubtful though. They never do.

If wishes were horses, we'd all be eatin' steak!

If Joss were running Suture Girl, he'd pick a better name.

WASH: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction.

WASH: So?
