I'm dearly fond of From Russia With Love, On Her Majesty's Secret Service is the most faithful to the book upon which it is based, and Diamonds Are Forever is the very first one I saw as a kid, but my favourite one is...
Tomorrow Never Dies. Love that Brosnan. Best Bond girl, too IMHO.

I have always been really impressed by the special effects. If you look at the original Bond Movies of the 60's you will see how good the special effects were! The humor was always "Spot-on"!
Also, all of the Bond Girls were HOT!

You mentioned my favorite already, On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Ironically, while having the worst Bond (George Lazenby), I thought it was the best movie. Also, while I love Teri Hatcher, Diana Rigg was the best Bond girl. After all, she was the only one Bond thought was worth marrying.

Hmmm favourite Bond film....

I tend to like them for the stunts more than anything else and right now I can't remember which stunt goes with which film... However I do remember liking On Her Majesties Secret Service for the great score, and also Thunderball for er well, the actress who played 'Domino' she was delightful and not so trashy as they tend to be.

I'm also a huge fan of the two Timothy Dalton ones, in particular License to Kill, because it had Bond acting out revenge which I reckon was an emotion overlooked far too often for such a character.

Of the Brosnan ones, Tomorrow Never Dies with Michelle Yeow is awesome! That helicopter/Bike stunt was breathtaking, and watching Michelle flatten those bad guys did it for me!

But the stunts I remember with mouth dropping amazement are, the car spiralling across a river, the Lotus esprit chase that then goes into the sea, the 2CV chase through the olive fields, The car that is chased around vegas, and bond goes up on two wheels to avoid the poilce, and several skiing chase scenes, but as I say can't recall which of the films they belong two. I do always like a bond film if they do something underwater, they're always cool....

In short, I can't decide.....

I havn't seen every single Bond movie out there, so I can't really make a proper assessment.

But DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER is my favorite Connery Bond movie (the part where he grapples himself to the ledge of the casino and then leaps off, with only two cords holding him up is the one moment in film that always makes me gasp because it looks so real) and TOMORROW NEVER DIES and DIE ANOTHER DAY are my two favorite Brosnan Bond flicks (although I love the tank chase and the bungee jump scene in GOLDENYE).

I havn't seen all the Roger Moore Bond films, but they seemed very cheesy to me.

And wow! Hey! What's this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like ... ow ... ound ... round ... ground! That's it! That's a good name - ground! I wonder if it will be friends with me?

Is that the boat chase with that really funny chunky sheriff? He cracked me up, I know he was a totaly hick type steroetype, but I just loved the way he would chew tobaco and shout "Boiii" all the time :)

Yeah that is good stunt work in there. Actually Chrisisall perhaps you can help me out here, in a lot of Bond films there are often stunts with sharks in the water, now with some of the scenes they're clearly fake sharks, but in others usually wider establishing shots they have real shark, and peeps be swimmin in around 'em. Occasionally they have a shark which looks like its taking a bite outa fella, presumably a stuntman, do they have some kind of rig that kicks like a man underwater for those kinds of stunts? Because frankly it can be really convincing and suitably disturbing, and the shark's really going for it!!
Do you know of such a thing? Even in the earlier Bond films where you'd think they'd have a dummy or something in the water, there's often a shot of some figure struggling in the water and a shark's about to pounce?

As for Solitaire.....Miss Seymour. Frankly my youth wouldn't have been the same without her or Ornella Mutti... D'you ever catch her in that Sinbad film! CRICKEY!!!!

That scene was filmed her in Louisisana and my older brothers best friend drove/flew the boat. I was about 10 at the time and all my classmates thought I was the coolest girl ever just 'cause I knew the guy!

You must own that movie, just for memories' sake, right?
It was one of the better Moore Bond films.

Eye of the Tiger, my man! She's the best effect in it.
They get underwater animal reasearch people for shots of sharks and people together, and do the padded thing they do with dog scenes, and the sharks usually aren't bigger than 6 feet, so their bites ain't actually all that dangerous, to a professional.
Hollywood's been hirin' these peeps since the 50's for stuff like Creature From the Black Lagoon, and the TV show Sea Hunt.
