Ok here goes, time to make me look even more of a geek than normal!

I went to Collectormania in May, at said event there where two Daleks!!! I will freely admit that Daleks frightened me as a child and they frighten me now (there a bit like Darth Vader only less human!) a point that my children find hilariously funny!

We rounded a corner on our second trawl thru the dealers stalls to find the 2 Daleks 'entertaining' the crowd, I screamed! I couldn't help it! I had an ice cream in my hand, one of the Daleks hears me scream, turns around (no mean feat) and sees my ice-cream. It then proceeded to chase me down the length of the hall (Think Earls Court size hall) screaming in it's very Dalek voice 'I want your ice-cream, give me your ice-cream'! Which absolutely everybody else thought was hilarious and nearly gave me a heart attack!

John agreed with me thru gales of laughter that they where indeed exceedigdly frightening and he would have probably drop kicked it, to which I said that I ran into the ladies toilet and John replied that he'd have probably done that instead cos it sounded like a much better idea!

That's my Dalek story, I know it's crap but it does appear to make people laugh.

Were any of you guys there on Sunday? Adam Baldwin did a talk. Also, one of the guys who was working there explained that the Serenity people just 'didn't show up', no one knew why.

Adam Baldwin was fun. My friend Zoe and I were there, and we expressed our regret that the Jayne sponge bathing scene was cut (see commentary for 'Serenity' by Joss and Nathan). Adam replied: 'Go home, get a camera, and a sponge.' Hehe! Now it's on the net, he'll probably have a lot of crazy fans chasing him with sponges.

Sorry if his talk on Sunday has been mentioned before in this thread, but it is very long, and I really couldn't read it all.

Oh, and don't worry if you missed it, cause it was filmed, so it will probably be on the net soon enough.

Adam Baldwin: Thongs are uncomfortable.

the website www.browncoatevents.com has lots of info about the Memorabelia Event August 13th/14th, the Shindig is in the Evening of the 13th (Saturday) - the fantable is at shindig and is now sponsered by UIP (which is FANTASTIC!)

We will have official & unofficial stuff - I will hopefully have 20x Jayne Cobb Hats for attendees to buy (1st come 1st served basis), the comics and Serenity action figures should also be available as well as some gorgeous fan art.

Brilliant! Shame we couldn't have staged a recreation - were you there when the Dalek did the announcement over the tannoy?
