I've seen Army Of Darkness over 150 times (hey! What else you gonna put on in the video store every day, Steel Magnolias?!?)
2nd place is Star wars at 130-something (mostly in the theatre),
3rd is Enter The Dragon at just over 100 (again, mostly in the theatre).

I had a lot of disposable income as a teenager.

Movie looney Chrisisall

I've seen LotR FotR about 200 times. I didn't have a t.v. antenna for a year and could only watch dvds. I supplemented my LotR viewing with Buffy season 1-4, which I have probably watched about 15 times each. I'm working on watching my Fireflies an obscene amount of times and I'm thinking I better buy a backup set just in case.

Hmmm. I'm not sure what the total number is but I've rewatched Casablanca like it was going out of style. It started with a grainy VHS copy I made years ago when we first got a VCR, continued with a purchased VHS, and now I've got it on DVD .

I never made the connection before but there are similarities between Whedon's dialogue and some of the great stuff that was being put out in the thirties and forties.

The Princess Bride. My mother was about ready to beat the crap out of me, my dad and two sisters for watching this movie over and over.

I usually put on one of several 8-hour Deep Space Nine marathon tapes when I go to sleep.

I couldn't tell you how many times I've watched something over and over, but...

Return of the Jedi (old version) is up there.

High Fidelity and Free Enterprise is up there.

Dark City for a while was up there.

Getting back to DS9... Trials & Tribbulations, and By the Pale Moonlight I've seen lots and lots of times.

When I was a kid I saw Fright Night so many times that my mother grew to like, hate it, like it, then forbid it...but not before I taped it on audiotape and listened to it before I went to bed at night...is that weird? Don't answer that.

I saw Ghostbusters in the theater 13 times. Everytime we went to the theater, is was just the better movie. I've seen it countless times since.

I'll be back with more...I had just typed a huge, huge list, but I managed to erase it all...So, back...

Simon: "It means more out here. It's all I have..."

movie. hmmm. I'm going to have to go with Empire Strikes Back. Jeezus. i dont know how many times ive seen it. Well over 200 times im sure. Starting back in 1979 when it was first shown (yes i know it was 1980 that everyone seems to say it was but i am DAMN certain i saw it in 79. my brother had not been born yet.he was born in 1980, and my mother was not pregnant at the time.) I've seen that movie so many times I used to replay the dialogue while running the floor sweeper at the factory i used to work at. i had the flu real bad one year and watched it with a 115 degree temp. i was of course delerious. i kept seeing the characters in the film as friends and family. I was Han Solo.

craziness.

just craziness.

Deep Rising & Grosse Pointe Blank. Must have seen them a few dozen times each. They're still fun.

I will answer that. Back in the stone age, before VCR's, I audio taped Star Trek episodes, and went to sleep listening to them. Can't even tell ya how many times I heard City On The Edge Of Forever!!!
You're only the third person I've ever heard of doing such a silly thing!

Makes me feel less like a nut Chrisisall
