but the thing is there are disclaimers saying that sometimes guests can't attend, and honestly you can't really hold organisers responsible. sure they should announce earlier if someone can't come etc etc, especially in the val kilmer case, but if it's just a random one off, something sudden, no i wouldn't blame anyone. besides only a tenner for entry.

There was loads of other things to do, and anyway if there wasn't there was a lovely air conditioned bar with over priced coke to drink ;) and then stare at the poor unfortunate stall holder who had one of the worst comb overs i've ever seen.

You'll have to let me know that 24 site you mentioned - maybe I'll go post them there.

I can't be doing with all this white balance stuff! Way too complicated....

Have posted a few shots of Adam in the Blue Sun Room (I promise it wasn't me who rated the shot of me & Adam a 10!).

My brother was suitably impressed with the photos of KITT - and you can just about see Glen A Larson sitting inside too!

unfortunately the 24 site is down :( friend of mine who runs it is having computer probs *sigh*

my brother tried to act cool, calm and collected when i showed him kitt, but i know he just wanted to scream with delight. especially the picture with the red light going "vroom" ;)

I'd like to thank KITT for being so patient all day, not objecting to flash photography and allowing us to stroke his interior....!

Tell you what, it's lucky I went to the con on Sat and to Dorset yesterday and not the other way round as I got SOOO sun-burned! Would not have looked good in the photos at all!

Fray, I wasn`t getting at anyone inparticular, but it was just a case of everybody going their separate ways and not always mentioning to the others what was going on. These places are pretty busy at the best of times. After searching a while, I had to do my own thing for a while, and met Jeff Wayne (War of the Worlds) & bought the new re-mixed collectors album etc.

I thought that we were all going to have lunch together as was suggested by StevieB & then a meal later.

Still, I had a reasonable time, I won`t say great due to the problems of non-serenity turnout (& what appears to be false advertising by Showmasters)

Zol - you lie! You were quite definitely having a go at Star Trek fans...! Who, to be honest, seem to be in the minority these days.

Considering how busy it was, and with people arriving at different times, I was actually impressed how many of us managed to meet up all - Cally, glad to hear you bumped into Matt but am shocked you didn't recognise the Official Summer Glau Poster Boy.

BTW, whilst everyone's frustrated by the missing Serenity booth, we might all want to watch potentially libelous comments...

I think the farrago over the Serenity booth probably gives us the best hint yet who was fooling who in the "poaching" row over Adam. Disappointing but there you go.
