This is what I would like to see in the DVD set.

The Episodes with:-

16x9 Anamorphic Widescreen
Dolby Digital 5.1
Commentaries from Cast and Crew
Isolated Music Score

Three Episodes per DVD (Total of Five DVDs):-

01 Serenity pt. 1
02 Serenity pt. 2
03 The Train Job

04 Bushwhacked
05 Shindig
06 Safe

07 Our Mrs. Reynolds
08 Jaynestown
09 Out of Gas

10 Ariel
11 War Stories
12 Heart of Gold

13 Objects in Space
14 Trash
15 The Message

And an Extra DVD with:-

Lots of behind the scenes stuff, outtakes, interviews, designs, TV spot, Music video for the theme song and anything else they can lay thier hands on.

Dreamn'. But hopefully some of that will be there. I mean, if they're going to cancel our show, it would be nice if they gave us the most kick-arse DVD set ever, but I don't think they're going to shell out that many discs, for, let's be realistic, a relatively small audience. In any case, you can fit four per disc. With a commentary or two. At least, that's what they did with Buffy and Angel.

just to put a more realistic point to it, a Beauty and the Beast movie and/or new series has been "talked about" for nigh onto 16 years with nothing to show for it.

here's my deal - all this wonderfulness y'all have tacked onto this promising sounding notice needs to be sent to the powers that be. without indication that there's a market, there won't be a DVD to get at Christmas. you want it, then start writing!

FYI - TVSHOWSONDVD.COM features voting for TV shows we'd like to see on DVD. you have to register, of course, but the follow-through is pretty quick. i already received confirmation. i'll keep y'all aprised on how much spam i just let myself in for.

Most of the cool features at the official Firefly website would make great DVD bonus material. And, since the website info was added episode-by-episode... each individual episode on the Firefly DVD set could have it's own specific extras! (okay now I'm salivating)

Fox Home Video has an opportunity to create a truly kick ass DVD set for this show. Methinks Firefly will be more successful on DVD than it was on Fox (possibly moving the show beyond cult status even).

This can only be good for us Browncoats who want to see continuing stories in the universe of Earth-that-was!

This is GREAT news! I really hope that they do not back out or change their minds. Firefly on DVD would be a great and prized addition to my collection, especially if it had extras, like the much coveted gag reel.

Wonder how long it will take it to hit the market?

Theres a thread here with 150 posts or more about voting at that site.

...hey, has anyone put it up in the official firefly board? I know theres a lot of people there who don't come here.
