Are you kiddine? Dude, the day after I see The Graduation, I'm gonna rent Angel S1 at my local Blockbuster. They only have the first season, however, so after that I'm probably onto Netflix (that is, assuming I don't develope the need to own it).
Ash is a decidedly guys-only hero. My wife can't even watch a minute of him before she rolls her eyes and bolts. I forget who at this site said it, but he put it perfectly- Ash puts me in touch with my inner smart-ass.
Hey, at the end of this ride, does Xander ever just straight up pound a demon or some such thing into submission with his own two hands? You know, does he get a shot at opening up a can of creature whoop-ass?
Just curious. If you don't think I should know, that's okay.
I see he stakes one in the credits Chrisisall

I can't tell you much...To me, Xander may be the biggest hero of the group, but you're gonna have to watch a whole lot more to get there!
And...I was the one who said the line about the inner smartass...Doesn't sound like something I would say?
Kaylee: "What's so damn important about being proper? It don't mean nothing out here in the black."
Simon: "It means more out here. It's all I have..."

Sorry, Manwithpez, I should've remembered it was you. It was on the is AOD the most entertaining thread, right? Edit: no, it wasn't...I can't remember what thread... So many witty people sayin' so much funny stuff around here (except Real World, where there is a real humour-deficit), it's hard to keep track. Two hundred posts later, and I'm like, who said that?
So, the other day, I was like, cool, Xander made it with Faith! But a couple of eps later, I'm like, wow, Faith is a bitch. I was liking her.
This sounds like a teenage gossip column, now.
As if these were real people Chrisisall

Hey Grounded.
What's your favourite 3rd season ep?

Now, Chrisall, Season 4 is where there can be some divergence among Buffy fans. It's a bit of a change-up when she starts college and some people don't like the direction the show starts to take and some don't like the new characters, or both. So, now we'll see how you feel about it.
But I can tell you this, no matter how you feel about the season as a whole, you've got some GREAT individual episodes to look forward to.
Personally, I have no problem with S4, I don't think it's as good as 3 or 2 but I think it's a strong season.
Happy watching!

Hard to say...but probably a three way tie between Lover's Walk, The Wish and Earshot. I suspect The Wish is my single most rewatched episode of the entire run ;)

Last night I watched Earshot, and I was sippin' on a brew when Buffy 'heard' what Xander was thinking at the library. Man, I had to keep my mouth shut tight, I was laughing so hard, I couldn't swallow, and I was trying not to spit it out!!! Single funniest moment so far IMO.
Excellent show, also. It was funny, yet tragic...I'm surprised it got made, given the subject matter and when it was shot (excuse the pun-?).
Bowling for Sunnydale Chrisisall
