Ok guys, your thoughts please...
I feel I ought to go see the above movie just to round off my Star Wars viewing, but I've heard its worse than ever!!
So far my best friend has said; "it was so shite I cried. It ripped the last shred of enjoyment I took in the originals out of me" and reported that people in the cinema actually threw things at the screen! Now I know London audiences can be tough, but...
Plus, I do recall spending a large part of Attack of the Clones in the loos at the Leicester Square Odeon talking to like-minded women all bored out of their skulls.
SO what d'you all reckon, is it worth a gander or should I save my cash and use it to go see the BDM one more time (assuming I haven't died of anticipation by the time it actually arrives)??

Dude, you know whether you see Ep 3 or not will have no effect on how many times you see Serenity - at least it better not.
I'll say this - if you go watch Sith, don't be surprised if you walk out of the theater more frustrated than pleased. That was my reaction.

STEVEthePIRATE hates to admit that he'll be watching Sith again tonight.

Right. Revenge of the Sith.
Amazing FX.
Fine plot (wraps up the story properly).
Better acting than in the last two films. Terrible script.
So if you can sit through some messy dialogue it's probably worth a gander yes.
...and we will call it...this land...

*gulps with aknowledged chagrin at being caught lying* StevetheP, you are of course bloody right! Am actually kinda scared by how many times I may "need" to see Serenity - you're speaking to the girl who went ot see Wimbledon 4 times - I mean, I ask you!
What little wealth I have is likely to be totally squandered on the BDM but me thinks it might be worth it...
*frustrated* is, I guess, better than sickened or in tears - maybe I'll give it a go - what else is there to do on a bank holiday weekend than a cinema marathon followed by a long and drunken deconstuction session anyhoo??

Wimbledon? Ahem ... Wimbledon? Wow. And four times to boot? Yeah, you're ready for Sith.
Geez. You might be ready for Swordfish after that.

STEVEthePIRATE hates Swordfish, by the way.

Really?? Better acting?? - am reliably informed that a small forest would do a better job... also told that the plot is missing presumed dead... will however take your advice, go see it and make up my own mind...

I enjoyed it, I enjoyed it a lot, and I hated the last two prequels.
As for the naysayers, I note that the majority are folks who haven't even seen it, but are going off what "other people" tell them. "Other people" tell ME that 'Firefly' was cancelled because 'it sucked,' and they never actually watched it.
So, are you going to go off what other folks say, or make up your own mind?

From a first person perspective: It was better than the first two.
That doesn't make it good.
