This has been posted elsewhere but I thought I would post it in a seperate thread.

I`m Booked for the Hitchhikers Exhibition at the National Science Museum in London on the 28th May (Saturday) - booked for the exhibition entry at 12pm (meetup 30 mins before)

So please say here, if you are coming or intend to come or are just thinking about it.

Cheers now,

Darin (Zol.)

p.s. just ask me for more info.

Got my ticket booked....

Just to clarify, this is a timed event. Zol & I have both bought tickets for 12pm but obviously many other times are available if that's too soon. And of course we can always meet up with people later on if you can't make (or aren't interested) in the exhibition.

Having now booked my ticket for Serenity 2 (can't be bothered with that squared nonsense!), am hoping to meet some fellow Browncoats beforehand so there are some familiar faces at the Radisson!

"Why would I want to leave Serenity?"
"Can't think of a reason."

Over 100 Serenity screencaps now available at www.destinything.com (yep, bought me a proper name!)

I'm thinking about it.

How and when are you travelling Zol? If you're going from Cheltenham could we travel together, which would be more fun than going on the train by myself?

I'm gonna try to get down there like I said BUT it all hinges on if I can, well, a) afford train and b) get someone to go with me. Unfortunately, I'll still have another 2 days left after that till I'm eighteen LOL which means my mother can still stop me from going alone.

I usually catch the 412 National Coach service early in the morning (6am - you can say it now!) when I go to London and arrive around 10am (London Victoria Station)- it`s fairly convienent and relatively cheap (about £17.50 if I remember right), and then there`s the tube to but, it works out a lot cheaper than travelling by Car & paying for Parking etc. You`d be more than welcome to get up early in the morning & join me

Phoebe is your Hitchhikers Guide friend still interested in going? I wouldn`t have thought there would be too much of a problem - as per travelling, you might be able to get a National Express coach form Stoke quite cheeply - try http://www.nationalexpress.com/bp/b2.cfm?id=26273748 or if that doesn`t work just the www.nationalexpress.com bit

EEK! 6am til 10am sounds a bit difficult! Usually on Saturdays I get up around 11am. However 6am doesn't actually match up with any of the times on the National Express website:

Did you mean leaving 6:30am and arriving 9:20am? I prefer the idea of leaving 8am and arriving 10:20am instead. It is a more civilized time and it is half an hour quicker because it doesn't stop everywhere on the way.

I'm still a maybe and I'm not sure whether to be sociable or get some sleep in the morning!

sorry, yes I did mean the 6.30, I forgot the lightly different time on weekends

The trouble with a later time is tht you hit the traffic (and this is a bankholiday weekend too)
However I didn`t notice the funfare seats - cheap seats.

I think could manage 8am, it`ll still leave an hour to walk or travel to the Museum.

Return time depends on what people actually want to do - given an hour for the exhibition (being optomistic) and whether people want to go around the actual museum - a visit to the Forbidden Planet Store, and food/drink etc.

there`s a coach returning at 8.30pm & then one at 11.30pm - I`m again a sucker for the late coach, seeing london at night is great! but I`m open to what others think

It's a Bank Holiday - you can be sociable on Saturday & sleep on Sunday AND Monday!

I`m even having a late night the night before too - with Jazz`n`Blues evening dinner and I was mentioning about a 630am start

I`m up for a late finish, gives 3 hours more in London

I'm up for the late 11:30pm finish. I'd rather have the time in London in the evening than in the morning.

I've made up my mind now to come. I just tried to book my Science museum ticket online but it keeps failing. I'll try by phone tomorrow.
