On the plus side, my lovely t-shirt from 11th Hour has arrived so at least I'll have something shiny to wear to the exhibition!

but also - is there anyone else thinking of joining the proceedings later -

i work very near forbidden planet if people are planning to come into the west end and can suggest nice pubs and eateries very nearby that aren't bang on the tourist route

i finish work around 6pm

if not i can just hitch up with you whereever you happen to be

Ooh, I reckon I can hang onto 6ish!! Pm your mobile or something so we can let you know where we are (assuming we can't arrange something definite beforehand).

I used to work near the British Museum - we were so close!! What pubs etc have you in mind - see if I recognise any names!

lots have shut recently the crown and the bull and mouth used to be our regulars

the angel on denmark street is a samuel smiths pub so the drinks are nice and quite cheap for central london and you a fairly relaxed crowd

museum tavern on museum street is ok often a bit busy and there is an all bar one on new oxford street that always has lots of space but a bit more pricey

few more around but can't recall them all now - gotta dash out of work for a meeting but i might remeber em by the morrow!!!

I must apologise for any part I may have played in the demise of The Bull & Mouth - used to do debt recovery for Camden Council and sent the bailiff's round there more times than I can remember!! Was always too smokey in there for my liking.

Don't think i know The Angel. We'd usually head down Kingsway.

And despite working in London for nearly seven years, I've yet to go to an All Bar One!
