DB. I originally got into it because of Alan Tudyk.

AD. But that's really just an excuse to segue into this joke:

How many Firefly fans does it take to change a light bulb?

Two. One to change the bulb and another to say they've been changing light bulbs even before the DVDs came out.

AD.

I haven't had a TV for 10+ years. I was instructed to rent the DVDs from NetFlix by a friend. Then, of course, I had to have my own set, which I've since lent out to one other friend...

DB.

Saw the trailers on the SiFi channel on UK SKY
TV, thought the show looked interesting...

So we watched a few episodes, got the DVD from the USA before it was released over here and watched them over again and again (lost count!)

Have spent the output of a small country on various items on Ebay and attending Cons, bank balance has suffered but we have made some great friends and feel richer for being Browncoats.

Been hooked ever since, love Serenity, Objects, War Stories, Out of Gas (Hell, love the gorram lot of them)

DB

I'd known about the show for a while before it was broadcast and was sceptical about it, but how wrong I was. After a few episodes I was hooked.

BF- I wasn't a Joss fan. Buffy and Angel were good shows, but I don't usually get home from work until 8:30-9pm so I never really followed them.

I saw the previews for the show and thought it would be amazing. Then I came home early from work every night it aired, watched the show, and went back to work (if necessary) afterwards to finish my job.

DB. My first episode was Our Mrs. Reynolds. I was instantly hooked, and cursed my poor luck for not learning of the show sooner.

Very BF.

I'm a long time Joss Whedon fan. I started posting on the Fox Prospero Board in July, well before the first episode aired.
