Oh I don't doubt they're all lovely people (the stars and the fans) - maybe I'm still bitter because they messed with my precious memories of the original. But that would be a whole other thread...

I can confirm that rooms are available for being booked at the hotel as of this moment. I know this because I just did!

Thanks for the info - don't want to push my luck so will wait until I have actually have my shiny ticket before booking!
Plus I'm still hoping to have my B&B at least partly paid for!!

I have some badge designs I've been playing with, thought I'd stick 'em in the Blue Sun Room for folks to look/laugh at. If I can get the site to upload the right one, dammit.

I was having some hassle with the Blue Sun Room earlier - found a Space Cases photo (I have no idea what that show was about but Zol's post got me all intrigued). The preview was for the right photo but when it uploaded it was one of my "Sin City" posters. Go figure! I tried three times then gave up.

WOW! Those badges rock! Put me down for one of each...I'd wear em all weekend, along with my Summer badge that slayerfest blessed me with.
And yeah, I had the exact same problem with the Blue Sun Room...I was trying to upload my first ever piece of Firefly fanart and it kept uploading the photo of me with the BDH's.
Also, Fray101, congrats with the hotel booking thing! Nice!!

Talk about serendipity! I've been wondering how on earth I could be paid for maintaining this website - then on the day this thread started I had another email asking me to update it. That was when I had my shiny idea....(hey, 2 nights at convention rates is a pretty good deal for building and maintaining a website dontcha think?).
So, just counting down the hours until Wednesday....and then counting the months until the actual convention! Guess that will be the hard bit...
