Just to clarify: Simon isn't evil. Sorry. However, Simon *is* a far 'better' character in the movie - he stands up for himself and his sister far, far more in the BDM, and it's fun to watch. One of the first things he does in the movie is try to beat the crap out the captain for endangering River - happy times in terms of character development. Simon is fed up of being on the run by the time Serenity has started.

Yeah, I know, but this is the top ten things I learned from watching the TRAILER...not the flick itself...that thread starts later this year!

Yeah, hi, me again. Did everyone miss the bit where I admitted that I could be delusional? Cuz it kinda seems ya did. I added some powdered disfavor of the character in question to one tiny frozen frame, stirred well with past impressions and lack of sleep, and ended up with my loopy concoction. I'm not even putting stock in it, and never expected anyone to take me seriously about it.

(I used to really dislike River, but now I loves 'er. If the same happens to this character, too, then yay for me, cuz I am ready to accept a change. But I can't forget the fact that Mr.J likes to do the opposite of what you think he's gonna do.)

2. Is it just me, or does the Captain look like he's doing the Hokey-Pokey to get away from that Reaver blade fired at him?

3. Let's see...Hayden Christensen with a lightsabre, or Summer Glau with a sword...Summer!!! Always Summer!

4. I've made quick getaways before. Nothing like Serenity getting away from that airlock before it blows up...more like, getting out of the car quickly when someone's just farted.

5. You know, if I had a Firefly class cargo transport ship, I don't think I'd fly it so low that I'd have to worry about speedbumps.

6. Admit it, when The Operative took his sword out, you kept expecting him to say "There are worse things out tonight than vampires."

7. Not one shot of Serenity lighting up for Full Burn? For shame!!!

8. You know, the Reaver that popped up in the cargo hold? My heart's still pounding from it...Both from being scared, and from actually seeing a Reaver!

9. Buffy Summers, meet River Tam. You ready? You ready? LET'S GET IT ON!!! (A fanboy can dream, can't he?)

10. Jayne...Get a haircut!!!
