I've got one. I bought one from a vender somewhere between Grafton and Temple Bar last year. I don't know why I bought it. Probably because I thought someone might like it, but I never gave it away. I bought three Celtic cross necklaces there as well, but I gave all those away.

That's the ring that Angel gave to Buffy on the series, in case you were wondering.
I've had my sterling silver claddagh ring since 1985.
I've only met a few people who know what it is.
I didn't know Angel gave one to Buffy.
(I wasn't an Angel fan until I saw the last few episodes. Now I have the series in my Netflix queue.)

I had a claddagh ring once but I lost. It was a perfect one too! Some rings that I found look all deformed looking. I miss it so much.

I have a claddagh ring, a gold one and it looks the exact same as the one Angel gave to Buffy actually. But I didn't get it cause of BTVS, my mother gave it to me when I was 8 because I'm like 97% Irish and my father gave it to her as their engagement ring, After they divorced when I was 3 my mother put it away somewhere and she didn't find it again till after my 8th birthday and she gave it to me. I like it because I think it's a good representation of my Irish background, I hate it because it is a memoir of my father.

I think Claddagh rings are so cute!
I was reading in the argos catalogue and it said it means
"I give you my heart with both hands and crown it with my love"
I thought that was such a beautiful description, i had to buy one lol!
for all the UK peeps, they do sell them in Argos for quite a good price xx

I bought mine at a renaissance faire some years ago. People often ask me if I'm a BtVS fan when they notice it. (I'm not)
But I do have an Irish background, and love the meaning behind the ring. Would love to get a real one in Ireland the next time I go to the UK.

Yep, I have one. It was my engagement ring to my ex-fiance... I still wear it even though we are no longer together, but its on my right hand and Heart is out. Its platinum with a Peridot stone (my birth stone).
