On tonight's Buffy, she said she was going to stay at home and watch a reality show about a millioniare.

Thanking Fox? For what? I interpreted it as a jab at Fox. Basically, the writers tried to think of the dumbest show on the planet, a show that would be embarrassing to admit watching. Fox handed that comment to ME on a silver platter.

What I would like to know...is WHY? Why the comment about a Fox show?

Here are my theories as to why this was mentioned:

1. Joss is making fun of Fox and J.M. in a way only his fans would know. "Thanking Fox"

2. Part of Joss's original Firefly contract called for a Fox J.M. plug in the script of a Buffy episode. It's happened lots of times, Frasier did an episode on Klingons, and Paramount produces both shows. (But I don't think this is the right answer). However, Buffy sure does advertise for Google, I've noticed.

3. Joss is f*&!ing with us.

Any more ideas?

Uhhhhh.... Number three has my vote. Joss and Co. are evil that way. It's why they're my heroes... *sob* God bless them.

I have come to the conclusion after much Buffy/Angel/Firefly watching...that Joss is almost always f*&!ing w/ us. I love him.
