Why are you doing this, Pixar? I mean, we know why [cue sound of millions of coins being spewed from a slot machine]. But regardless of well-deserved worries about screen-time or not, there doesn't feel like there's a reason for this to exist other than keeping your stockholders happy. This fifth entry in the series is designed to be a cautionary tale for our contemporary in-crisis moment of Silicon Valley's stronghold on our lives. But it's even more of cautionary tale on brand management. This is what happens when you beat a franchise to death.
Welcome back, Joan Cusack - her take on Jessie, the yodeling cowgirl that was introduced in Toy Story 2 over a quarter of a century ago, has always been one of the movies' highlights. The actor has been more or less AWOL from screens since the previous Toy Story entry and a brief appearance in second season of the streaming show Homecoming. At the animated movie's premiere last week, she told a red-carpet reporter that she's spent the last six years or so living a normal life in Chicago. You've been missed, Ms. Cusack.

But that came out in 2019. Before Covid. Before the "Summer of Love". Before you all turned into lunatics that are responsible for burning down shit in America over 100 times every year. So it still made money. Because the normies hadn't yet caught on to all the poison you Lefty DEI hire retards were putting in the programming their children were watching.
Unfortunately for Lightyear, it came out in 2022. Exactly when I was paying attention to every movie that was in theaters for a few years, and I got to see that one gloriously crash and burn after you told me repeatedly "it's not made for you".
It wasn't made for anybody.
Disney had better fuckin hope this one was made for everybody. Because they've destroyed every brand they bought up that wasn't their own, and they're about to destroy Toy Story too if TS5 is just more of the same shit that somebody like you would want to see.

I had a look for names like Nikolas, Thanos, Christopoulos, Onasis,
Ioannis, Sofia, Anastasia...there names sound unique its like Latin Spanish-like mixed with Russian-like sound a 'Cyrillic' sounding name but you can pick them out
maybe there is one person in the credits who worked as a stunt man but I dont see any Greek
Not one Greek actor seems to be in this film...not even close to Greek...maybe John Leguizamo he's Latin America heritage so has that Mediterranean thing going on...you dont have to be a Greek to act Greek it is entertainment and acting, Jon Bernthal kinda looks Greek but he's also a good actor
but it helps if you look like a Warrior of the Time and it helps if you are a good actor
Some of the casting choices seem WAY WAY WAY off
Elliot Page formerly Ellen Page, a 'White' is also in this movie, there has been massive backlash, this person thinks that 'she' is a 'he' and mutilated herself because of that weird Hollywood transexual 'culture'

I think the real question is why wouldn't he?
He's already locked in. Unless somebody decides to pull the plug on the whole thing early like they just did to the Stargate continutation, there's no changing any of this and backing out now.
So... One of Two things happens...
1) The Odyssey breaks 10 year trending on woke shit, makes over a Billion worldwide and shuts people like you and me up forever.
2) This fails just as hard as literally everyone expects it to.
If it makes a Billion, he's a genius. But if it flops, he's now in the center of all the articles coming out questioning whether or not all of this has gotten a little fucking out of control and how everybody's just a little sick of this shit in 2026.
So why would he do this?
Well... Even if he didn't plan to do this with the end result of putting out a flop that loses half a billion while also winning at least a few Oscars and making a fucking example of everyone on live TV while he accepts the awards...
I think right now he'd better start testing out his own acting chops and prepare that speech just in case.
If he does that, America falls in love with the guy.
If he doesn't, he'll have some Oscars, but I wouldn't ever expect to see him direct a movie over $100 Million again.
And SOMEBODY is going to do it. Everything is eventual.
What Ricky Gervais did years ago was amazing. And he knew as he was saying all that that he would never have another opportunity to do it again after that night.
But as important as that speech was for The People, it didn't mean what something like this would mean. Gervais was just saying right to their faces the things that I'm sure they already knew some of us talked about decades ago and are probably pretty terrified about how many people talk about those things today.
But Christopher Nolan putting out a $250 Million bomb intentionally by cramming as much of the woke Oscar's intersectionality as he could possibly fit in that budget?
A bomb that he knows good and goddamned well that The "Academy" will gush over and likely give more awards than any movie that came before it?
Hell...
All he has to do now is ignore the noise, keep his mind right and direct the best goddamned movie of his life. It NEEDS to be good, despite itself.
It needs to be really, really good.
Just something that nobody goes and pays to see because they're completely done with the race and sex swapping bullshit.
