On ours it's in the web browser.
Yeah... They're in the web browser. They're in AppData in a json file along with a database key you need to copy to the new browser if you didn't make a specific .CSV password backup file. All of your bookmarks are there too.
I just didn't think to remove the hard drive and get that data off of it before I refreshed windows and all that was gone. I had backups of everything, but those were from 2023, and the passwords were not good. But I had the actual info I needed typed out in various locations. I guess I just needed 4 hours to remember what it was I needed to do.

I love those shades too. Decorative, classy, not ornate and not stark either. I can see them going with everything from Shaker to Art Deco to modern. Honestly, if I could find something like that I'd be happy!
FWIW it's not possible to burn glass. It does melt at about 1500°F. When they "frost“ it they usually use a form of fluoric acid to dissolve a thin top layer, so it's not anything they put on top of the glass.
Anyway, I don't think there's anything permanent on the glass. Maybe KrudKutter will do the trick?
Yeah... Those shades are thick and heavy too. I really like it.
I don't have any Krud Kutter but I'll get some if it might work. What about Easy Off? I do have some Easy Off back from when I cleaned out about 3 lbs of burnt crap in my oven.

What a mess...
I'd celebrate the fact my power is somehow still on, but a butterfly can fart around these parts and my power will go down, so just prayin' that it stays on at least the next few days to keep that pump running.
I noticed 3 hours ago that the street had entirely flooded, so being Block Daddy, I went out with my rake to clear them out...
No dice. City sewer is down again for some reason. 3rd time since I've lived here.
I know we just got slammed with a ton of rain quickly, but it really wasn't that much rain to be looking at water up past my maple tree for only the 2nd time since I've lived here. If my power was out, this would have been a nightmare already.
Thankfully the rain has officially stopped now. We shouldn't have any for days at least. If we got about 1 more inch of water I'd have to turn off the sump pump again until the city sewers started draining and just cross my fingers.
My dad is still without power for more than 24 hours now. This morning at 7AM, ComEd had 197,000+ outages. They only fixed 61,000 by the time this next batch of storms came around tonight. I just checked, and now they're back over 190,000 outages again. My poor dad. He's going to be up all night with his mess. Even if I wanted to go help him now, I can't go anywhere. If I even went to the end of my driveway right now I would drown my little car.

Finally just talked to him. He is going to be up all night and he's hoping he's got it in him to do it. I thought it was way worse than it was by the way he was explaining it though because he was calm and we talked for 6 minutes and he wasn't working while we were talking or rushing off the phone to go back to it. He just doesn't know how he's going to stay up to do it.
It infuriates me that I have two younger brothers who both live within 10 minutes of him and nobody is over there helping him out. My street is completely screwed and I'm stuck here.
I saw there are just as many outages now in his area as there were this morning, so I doubt he's going to get his power back on by Saturday now. I let him know once he knows the basement isn't going to flood that he can bunk with me for a few nights until the power comes back on and we can watch some movies or something.
Bathroom wouldn't be done, but he could see how the sausage is made.

Back and had a nice day with my friend from high school. She loved her present.
Anyways got in and a message from my dentist. Appointment has been changed from the 22nd of June to Monday the 15th of June. Have to call and confirm.

Laundry day then a walk in the heat. My area hit over 70F yesterday. Suppose to be the same today.

Back and done for today. Temp wise my area is almost 80F.

What did you get your friend?
My buddy liked his Kindle. One of the books I put on there was "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark". It was one of those books that people my age either had or were envious of other people who did, so I wasn't surprised to see his reaction to it being on there. He then went upstairs and found his own hard copy of it to show me.
I'm glad one of the wrappings I had just enough left of wasn't too Christmassy. It was plaid, and not overly green/red.
He said, man... you wrap a tight present. I like it.
Yeah... I learned that along with making the bows out of ribbon from my mom. And I'm a perfectionist on top of that too.
You're goddamned right I wrap a tight present.

One more device wrapped up and ready to go and another should be done before I crash out tonight. After that, just one left to go, and that should be a very easy one since it's practically identical to my work computer.
Eventually I'll get to all of that ancient tech hiding out in my attic, but I've got some more important things to be doing while the weather is nice. It's going to be nice seeing this stuff finally go somewhere and know that it's going to get a decent amount of use where it's going, when most of its kind have already been sitting in a landfill for a long time.
The old man is probably coming by tomorrow. His power is still out. More rain coming tonight, but it's not too much, and if there are thunderstorms they seem to be pretty mild from what I'm looking at so far. As long as he can leave the house without worrying about the well, he's going to do it. Sounds like I'm going to be the benefactor of some meat that is going to go bad otherwise too. Bonus.
I still haven't done anything in the bathroom since I put the light up since I've been floating around to other things. He'll get to see the behind the scenes stuff now. I haven't showed him any pictures except for the original electric behind the medicine cabinet and the toilet paper roll holder, so all he knows of that bathroom is the memories of how bad it looked before he went on his trip.
At least I finished what I was working on before I went to sleep last night, so I could clean up the mess all over the living room floor and have that room looking exactly as it did before he went on his trip. Got a little overflow in the kitchen that wasn't there, but that's in 2 groups of Things I want him to take and give to specific people, and tools that I'm probably done with for the bathroom, but not confident enough to take back out to the garage yet until the cabinets are hung and my electric is wrapped up.

Nice. His power is back up.
Got a lot cleaned up here even though he's not coming by tomorrow now. We both decided Monday was going to be the best day for us to do our yardwork, so we'll probably get together on Tuesday now.
Don't think I'll do anything more to the bathroom between now and then. The mess is all cleaned up and with my hand mirror and the light installed it's easy enough for me to do what I need to do in there. I'll go back to making a mess after he's seen it in this state.
Got a few things to do to wrap up this device I'm working on, then I should have plenty of time to finish the other one and get the lawn mowed before he comes here.
