Everything done for today. Temporary crown on and groceries done.
I go back next Monday for the permanent one.
Cloudy and muggy but no rain. Temp right now according to my computer is sitting around 80F.

Nice cool day to mow the lawn, so that's out of the way... for now. 
Thought maybe I should have waited a few more days since there wasn't a lot of seed this time around, but it might just be late enough in the year where we're really not going to get anymore no matter how tall I let the grass grow. That being said, I can absolutely tell that I've got more grass now than I did last year. There's two or three sections in particular that were looking pretty bare that have filled in beautifully. Sure... there's weeds there too, but there are weeds everywhere. The whole lawn is going to need some serious work in that regard, but I'm not worried about that this year.
House is clean except for the toilet, so I won't be scrambling to clean things up before the old man comes by tomorrow. (With a lot of food 
)
It's still early, and I'm still all dressed for work and haven't taken my shower yet.
I'm considering maybe, possibly trying to hang my over the toilet cabinet right now. Maybe...

I've watched my neighbor's daughters go through that 3 times already. They always get rescues, and none of them have been very young to begin with. It's probably the real reason why I've never gotten one myself underneath all the excuses. I'd probably love that thing more than I've ever loved any human and the inevitable would potentially be devastating to me, depending on how things were already going otherwise.
I'm really sad hearing about your dog and we've never met. I'm also not great with words about these kinds of things. If this is the end I know that it will be quick and painless for her.
I hope you still have it in you to get another dog, and if dogs are smart enough to think it even if they can't elucidate it, I'm sure that's what she would want you to do too.
... and maybe having a new little bundle of joy with a youthful spirit around the house is just what you all need right now.

I got my box up anyway... At least that was making me happy before the news about doggo...
As for the difficulty of that job... You don't even want to know. I got what I deserved for starting it without putting up a cleat like my buddy suggested. I was at least 50% sure I could do it without a cleat, and I could, but I will never, ever attempt that again.
My saving grace was that I was somehow able to drill the screw on the top-left at the 45 degree angle into that stud without wavering or slowing down and got it tight into the wall. My first attempt at doing it straight on into the stud that was center to the right and just to the left of the outlet below was a complete failure. Stuck midway without gripping any real stud-meat, and trying to get my star-bit back on the screw while my drill and hands were far above my eye-line while standing on the toilet and holding the cabinet tight to the wall was not happening. This had me kind of worried about the situation since I only had one more chance and it was by far the harder of the two to screw in.
I have no doubt that the cabinet would have fallen from the wall and broke the entire bottom piece that I had the bottom screws in if I let go for even a few seconds, so my only option at that point if I screwed both of them up on top was to go back down and try to remove both of those screws and try it all over again from scratch.
But it's level. It's super tight to the wall and not going anywhere. It's where I wanted it, and I don't have to repair holes in the wall from a cleat.
Whenever I get around to hanging the doors and finishing the electric outlet I'll have more pictures.

BTW SIX, that bathroom looks super nice! I'm truly impressed. I'm glad you chose to go with one color for the walls. It looks like a smallish room and different wall colors might have made it look smaller.
And the vanity and wall cabinet color looks really good. Enough contrast with the wall to be noticeable but not so much to be jolting.
It all looks beautiful and clean and bright.
BTW, what's a wall cleat?

Puppy- wuppy's surgery started about half hour ago. We should be hearing from the vet in a half hour or so how things went (fingers crossed). I have to admit, I'm nervous.
