THG: Firefly ended 25 years ago. I used to post funny cartoons and a hello in chat each day I was here. Jack changed that. He moved out of real world and started trolling me in tag. Then we lost the ability to post anywhere but in tag and chat. Thankfully that got fixed, but nobody can fix Jack. So you know, there are only about 7 of us left at the site. It would be nice if that number grew and more sane people came back to the site.

THG, a month or so before the site went down you were complaining that SIX was actually talking to me. When that first started happening you could have come on in and spoke to me about music. You did for a couple of days and got bored. Then you could have come in and talked me about my random thought about Riel or even strange place names in Western Canada. But you wouldn't.
I like constructive conversation and I will answer questions as proven by talking to SIX. This is truth and reconciliation in Canada. Making peace with your enemy and trying to understand what happened and how to talk to each other. Not argue but talk. You know parley.

I appreciate you both not posting in the tags today, and I will stand by my word and not post anything insulting or political in the tags myself either. You probably noticed I did a little "window dressing" there and spammed a Firefly picture to age off all of our bullshit.
It appears that we've got about 5 or 6 people who have come back already, and although I don't recognize any of them yet myself, who knows? Maybe even more will come back if the big damn surprise is something worth celebrating. I don't want to scare anybody off with our hostilities toward one another. Our bullshit kind of bled into other nooks and crannies of the site over the years after everyone else left.
If you're willing, I'm willing to keep all the politics and bullshit in the boundaries of the RWED toilet where it belongs and leave the rest of the site for people who love the show and don't want to get political. That's not to say they're not welcome in here too, but I hope for their sake that most of them are still sane enough not to want to dive back into this cesspool with us.
I think we should probably take that a step further, and if we have anything even remotely political regarding topics in other forums like Cinema and Sci-Fi, we should post that in the RWED as well and leave those forums for people to post about Movies, TV Shows, Books and anything else that they actually like instead of posting in those forums to shit on new stuff coming out that we don't like.
I think I'm kind of excited most for Brenda, TBH. She's the one person who never got political while hanging around until the end with the rest of us, and maybe once she gets her monitor fixed and she's back up and running she'll actually have some normal people to talk to again by the time she comes back.
If you're cool with that, I'm cool with that.
Not a truce, of course. But I think it's all an agreement that we should be able to abide in respect for other Firefly fans.
