It's you that's not living in the real world.
You're so desperately unhappy with the present you just want to crawl back into your childhood, and you're willing to believe anyone who tells you they can do something about it.
I never thought that Trump was The Answer. Our (national) problems are so deep and so complicated, Trump isn't about to solve them. I voted for him bc he's a disruptor, not bc he's a problem solver. Maybe something good will come out of chaos, bc we sure couldn't keep going the way we were before.
Also, unlike our current crop of pols of both parties who simply try to gaslight, manipulate, and punish everyone into following their agendas, Trump pays attention to opinion polls and is swayed by them.
But if you want to SOLVE PROBLEMS, personal, financial, political, medical ... whatever... you have to quiet that emotional gibbering of fear, anger, desire, or panic, and think clearly and rationally. The person who does that best will do best in life. My dad and hubby climbed out if circumstances that would have killed others or sent them into permanent downward spiral. So don't try to convince me that your situation is all that horrible and justifies all thst outsized emotion. NOTHING does. The more dire your plight, the cooler you should be.
My $0.02. Off soapbox now.

Crawling back into my shitshow of a childhood? What the fuck are you smoking?
This ain't about me.
If you're going to deny that American Society in general is absolute shit compared to where it was 40 years ago, this conversation is finished before it began, and I see no reason to continue it.

Bolton instructed Trump the Monroe Doctrine ‘alive and well’
It would be crazy for the USA to have boots on the ground, the numbers dont add up, with past events, history to look at we might conclude they in US Politics Military ops might try is backing some narco rebels against another bunch of narco government gang, they did this covertly during the Cold War the government of Latin America or the militia Rebels, attacked by another group backed by the United States...maybe some Special team looking at events on the ground...somewhat indirect to direct support, which said Latin America was the USA's backyard. Theodore Roosevelt’s assertive approach to Latin America and the Caribbean has often been characterized as the “Big Stick,” and his policy came to be known as the Roosevelt Corollary to the Monroe Doctrine. Latin america has been strange, profits and loss and chaotic and eventful for the USA it got worse during the missile crisis under Fidel Castro then clams down as Cuban Nuclear Missiles are withdrawn as well calm down almost coming to an end as the Soviet Union falls.
Relations between the USA and Venezuela used to be ok but they have been getting much worse.

Trump adviser Bolton the warhawk now warns Venezuela: Monroe Doctrine ‘alive and well’
Meet the new boss, but....same as the old boss... and so now its Madeleine Albright, Donald Rumsfeld, the Bush family, Soros, Janet Yellen, the ghost of Dick Cheney, Nelson Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell, Henry Paulson, Rubio now running the foreign policy
Grenada was a very small island country of the West Indies in the eastern Caribbean Sea near Venezuela, it is near Colombia, the country formerly known as British Guyana... this island of Grenada is not Venezuela, it was a very small island with villages, the country of Venezuela is big with lots of people it can be compared to Egypt, the US state of California, Texas, the state of Alaska, Libya, France, Spain, Turkey, Iraq, Ukraine, Japan, Germany, Pakistan
Venezuela has swamps, easy smuggling routes on land, mountain peaks, vast tropical plains, dense rainforests, different climates from hot semi arid, to climate of tropics, to cold highland with dry winters to tropical savanna to hot desert on the coast where any invasion to capture or arrest some local guy would happen.
They do have a military Bolivarian Army of Venezuela, Navy of Venezuela, Military Aviation of Venezuela...it is only impressive when compared to the other small countries of the region, compared to the USA they are nothing and no country on Earth really compares to the power of US Forces.
If they were to fight out at sea with their ships trying to fight USA ships and their aircraft trying to battle US Fighters they are finished.
Trump wants Maduro to have already stepped down, he wants him gone.
I'm not sure this will happen
They have a huge Marxist militia a type of military police hidden everywhere it is a presidential republic but under an authoritarian dictatorship

Yanno how you keep saying "the world you lived in no longer exists"?
Well, the world you lived in no longer exists. That justifies your anger, you say.
But it's not that, or not JUST that. People generally don't get all that emotional about "the state of the world" unless it affects them directly. Something in your current situation has triggered a long-running emotional outburst. Whatever it is, Trump acting out your frustration by rampaging thru Venezuela DEFINITELY isn't gonna fix it for you.

I think Rubio and the rest of the neocons are hoping for another Syria: the sudden collapse of a corrupt military. And since IDK whether the military leadership is loyal to Venezuelan independence and/or Maduro as President, IDK how likely that outcome might be.
I know the military WAS loyal to Hugo Chavez, but that was bc Chavez was a paratrooper. And I've heard that the poor of Venezuela and the troops are loyal bc Maduro has done his best to alleviate poverty despite crippling USA sanctions. But high ranking officers? Maduro has got a huge price on his head. One hopes he has a cadre of personal security bc $50 million goes a long way.

The world that I lived in no longer exists because those evil Democratic Party fuckers killed it. And they made idiots like you feel guilty if you didn't smile and go along with all of it.
Period.
And I will repeat for the final time.
I don't give a shit about Venezuela. I don't give a shit about Ukraine. I don't give a shit about Russia. I don't give a shit about Israel. I don't give a shit about Gaza and the Palestinians.
Kick them all out of our borders, and fix what you broke here, motherfuckers.
I don't want to hear one more fucking word from some dipshit asshole white person with a college degree about these poor people over there.
Fuck them. You want to fix any of that, then you get your ass over there and get to work.
America First. Everyone except for maybe Canada if they get on board a very, very distant last.
Poland at least has my morale support, because they seem like the only country in the Western world with half a goddamn brain running it. The rest of Europe is on their own until they take care of their own invaders in their own borders. As far as I'm concerned, after what they've done to their own countries, they deserve to be conquered by Russia or China. And we won't be far behind unless we start kicking out about 10 million people a year for the next 3 years. No more of this 88 people per weekend bullshit.

You're like JSF: wrong, and stupid.
a) I NEVER smiled and went along with it.
b) A society is based on its economy. Wreck the economy, you wreck society.
So why the hyperfocus on Dems?
Establishment Republicans are just as onboard with beating down Americans as establishment Dems.
And why the hyperfocus on social issues? Sure, they're signs of the globalist engineering a color revolution here, but that's just the final stage. We have a real economic, financial, and fiscal problems too.

You say you "don't care" about foreign nations, so why don't we just leave them the fuck alone, and save ourselves a bundle of money?
What is the urgent urgency that "we" "need" to be rampaging thru the world, supporting this war and that war and "intervening" militarily?
I'll tell you what I THINK it is: Trump is using our military to shake down whoever he can. He's tried to -and at times succeeded in- shaking down Canada, Greenland, Ukraine, the EU, and now Venezuela, on the most ridiculous pretexts. He's behaving like a man desperately searching under the couch cushions for loose change.
IDK if he's doing this in behalf of the banks, the USD, or the Treasury, but instead of using our military (and spending a trillion dollars on it) he needs to SOLVE THE DEBT PROBLEM AT HOME. There are all kinds of ways to gradually wind down our huge collective debt overhang, but it would require that the extremely wealthy lose on their speculation, and Trump isn't willing to do that.
There's a huge fight in the WH, extending to Congress and beyond, between two factions: the MAGA faction (Vance, Gabbard, RFK, and one other person whose name I'm always forgetting) and the neocon/deep state pro-globalist faction (Rubio, McConnell, Graham, Kellogg-fired, thankfully- and pretty much everyone in the CIA and State Dept).
(FWIW IMHO Patel and Bondi are Trump's personal defenders. Trumpists. Just saying.)

I actually believe many drug boats have been bombed
but I'm just not sure they are all 'Narco Terrorists'
even the Trump Admin admits it might have made a mistake and bombed people who were not smuggling drugs
