Operation "Steal Venezuela's Oil“ officially at the halfway point. What happens after that depends on whether an insurgency develops.
No air defenses activated against the dozens of American helicopters circling over Caracas. Clearly the Venezuelan military and political elite betrayed Maduro under pressure of sanctions.
I've been saying for a while that Trump is behaving like a man frantically rummaging thru the couch cushions for loose change. Controlling Venezuelan oil will go a long way to recapitalizing American banks and locking out China.
