This shouldn't be a partisan issue.
This never used to be a problem, and now it's a problem every year.
The smoke is the least of our concerns. We need to build more housing. We can't do that when the cost of lumber is prohibitive because our supply is constantly burning to the ground because of the ineptitude of our do-nothing "leadership".
That goes equally for US and for Canadian leaders.

Fires have ramped up in BC. Now over 100 burning. Most of these new ones are being caused by lighting strikes. In the last week there were 4,200 of them and over 1,000 cause fire.
