Without immigration this country dies. A lack of workers means there is no one to replace those leaving the workforce. There is more to it than that, like wages doubling due to companies competing for workers followed by inflation through the roof. The price of everything would triple. If Apple made its phones here today, they would cost 3,500. Without immigration triple that. These reasons alone are enough.

Support for deporting all undocumented immigrants dropped to 38 percent from 47 percent last year, when it reached a “unique” high as Trump made it a policy promise during his campaign. Current levels of approval for mass deportations of undocumented immigrants now match where they stood in 2019, at 37 percent.

My response to comrade signym was based on the fact that she implied asking the different questions, would garner drastically different polling numbers showing Americans overwhelmingly wanted them out.
Instead, polling shows most Americans, despite many being here illegally, are ok with it unless they commit a crime. The clickbait in my head as you call it moron, is called facts. In other words Gilligan, you and signym lose the point, the set and the match.
