I like to check in at the IMDB from time to time and I just read where Alan tudyk said something about this being a 3 picture deal with Universal. Is this true or am I dreaming?

As a contract condition, all of the cast and Joss are committed to be avialable for up to three films. Universal doesn't have to make more than the one, but if Serenity does well they're prepped to do two more. Our job is to buy as many tickets as possible opening weekend to make sure this happens.

From what Adam and Jewel have both said at Cons the ticket sales have to be strong the first 2-3 weeks that the BDM is out in order to hit that magic number that 'Versal will consider their target. If the BDM is a success, we will get two more films.

I'm sure I won't mind seeing it 3 weeks in a row. :)

And after it comes out, I have to remember to talk about it excitedly everywhere I go. At work, while checking out groceries, while driving in rush hour traffic...

As big a fan as I am, I doubt even I'll be able to watch 21 straight viewings of Serenity. But, who can say for sure ?

Planning to go first all by my lonesome on opening night (November 4th, 'cause I'm in Norway). If I recognize it as appropriate for my parents, I will bring them the same weekend, possibly getting my brothers along.
Then I'll go with my group(s) of friends, the few close ones, and then possibly the more rim-like friends.

I will be putting up the guerilla marketing posters in a few different places as well, during some weeks just before the release. Possibly during the night, guerrila-like.

I also really like the idea of picking up a
conversation like NYWOE said. Just talking loudly on the bus would do good, I believe.

The Browncoats are mighty, right? So I think there would be no problem in keeping the numbers of visitors flying and steady in the first 3+ weeks. I have faith in you US Browncoats.

Sincerly can't wait till the Big Damn Movie's released.

i will do what i did with LOTR and S.W.A.T. and go see it at least 7 times at the cinema!!
each time you see it something new appears that you did not see or hear before that is the magic!!!!!
