Modify a game...thats ok
this is a weird one...I guess it goes into Artist Property or something
but people Mod all the time, you get one shooter, driver, spaceship game it can go from Marvel Xmen Avengers to Star Wars to DC to Anime people to Star Trek...zombies come from nowheer in your game its a mod so Experience The Apocalypse, Murder, Theft, Ghosts, Cursed Paintings, almost Anything Is A Hat ...Teenage Pregnancy they went there...Bricks and Walls explode and Lava in Minecraft, Prostitution Bondage gear, they change colors or add code to graphics and now the doll has the clothes removed but with skin bounce and bits hanging out Full-Frontal Nudity, everyone is fat now or a midget...Occult Satanic Babylon Symbols Appear
...it gets weirder and weirder
for a while there was disturbing world of banned Sims mods, people wearing drug symbols, booze parties, the characters would become nudists or something?...then weirdos got into games so perverts started pushing transexuals and lesbos and gays and furries people who have a fetish to dress in a bear or dog costume while wearing a sex toy....soon young people rebel get more conservative and so EA Tried to Stop an ‘Anti-DEI Mod’

Mods look pretty fun. They're just about the only reason outside of Windows 10 support ending in October that I'd like to have a nicer computer. There's a lot of cool shit that you can do with mods, and people have made bank on YouTube telling entirely new and goofy stories for games like Oblivion and Fallout 3/New Vegas by heavily modding the games and doing comical playthroughs. One guy who goes by Wilburger has gotten so good at modding Oblivion, that he's added AI voices as well as his own voices to characters and adding entirely new verbal scripts and quests/missions in his games.
AI playthroughs can be quite entertaining as well. There was one guy who got really good at it, but then he just disappeared off of YT and stopped making videos altogether. That was a shame. He was playing through Fallout New Vegas with his AI (that he named Six), and he would just play through whatever situation the AI directed him to as the story progressed. It was pretty interesting seeing how the AI would asses a current situation when given the new information after a scene played out, stacked on top of what the AI had already learned through the game and the environment and their previous decisions up to that point.
Currently, there's one guy out there who is taking characters from both game worlds, given them AI personalities, convinced him that he is a "God" from the real world, and gotten them on board to follow him into the other game worlds to show them what life is like in alternate realities. That one is real interesting, just because you've got characters in one world full of melee and magic and high fantasy and the other world is the post apocalyptic wasteland. Watching him interact with this AI after they have experiences in this alternate world is pretty fascinating.
At the end of the day though, you really don't own these new games when you buy them. Most of the contracts specifically tell you that. It's why games can disappear from your Steam library at any time just like all of those people who lost thousands of TV show episodes and movies when Sony lost some content contracts a few years ago and they didn't give a single dime back to all the people who thought they owned those shows and movies after they paid full price for the digital downloads.
This is all just another reason why I have no interest in new g
