This is nothing new and it has been going on for decades.
The only thing "new" about it is that it's actually being reported on in 2026.
Hell... up until 2 years ago they wouldn't even mention the color of the perp unless they were white. It was so rampant and well-known a practice that everybody knew the perp was a minority simply because they didn't say they were white in the reporting.
