I imagine the indie industry is really going to struggle now, with all the USAID funding being cut.

I'm wondering when we're going to get the list of "indie" flicks with the "proper messaging" and "diverse quotas" that were filmed on taxpayer dollars.

Homestead was ok or not?
so I think the multi-citizen Canadian Citizen? US Citizen? Jew Israeli? Christian Zionist or whatever he calls himself these days was ranting and cheering 'Homestead'

I applaud its Low-Budget however the box office taking is very low

the real-life LA Fires were far more scary than some Nuke Apocalypse Hollywood Commiefornia Fantasy

...or before the California Fires I guess you could look at the Dindoo Nuffins George Floyd BLM Antifa riots or the 1992 Los Angeles riots
the USA is often ready to destroy itself, you don't need some fantasy story about alien 'Nukes'

Homestead
they were not sure to release it as a Direct Download, a DVD a box office movie or a tv show, in any other time period perhaps 'Homestead' would have done better

However the market is crashing now

It all started in 2016...

They made up the word nobody had ever used before and presented it as if it were a word that everyone used all of the time.

They told us not to use it.

We used it.

And the funniest thing is, if you look at 0:30 of the video, we used their made up word to define what they are, when the intention was obviously for us to be calling ourselves woke.

They told us "Stop bragging about being woke.", "Stop saying woke".

Not one white man in the country before this video went around bragging they were woke. I have my doubts that any had even heard the term before then.

But fast forward a few years and there were plenty of college "educated" liberal "men" who started using woke to define themselves. ... Even bragging about it.

while new Captain America limping its way to $400 million worldwide.

the video games to movies and tv

or indie horror continues to be a thing

Unfortunately for video games they are becoming less and less independent, you no longer see small games with good game play but 'Huge Studios' and huge production teams pushing a brand

There are plenty of indie games out there if you look. The kids can find them easy because they're all on Steam. The problem is there's a billion projects on Steam that are crap, and the way they run their toplists to advertise games to people leaves a lot to be desired. So if you're new to all of that and don't know how to see reviews of games by people who aren't bots, you're probably not going to want to put too much stock in their own review system.

As for Triple-A companies? I think they're about to finally splinter. They can't afford to take a single risk anymore because if they release one title that flops that can ruin them. Then they've got to rush the next one out, unfinished with all of its bugs, and hope it doesn't flop too or else they've just dug themselves an even deeper hole. They've also recently raised the price of new games to over $100 each, which is quickly making piracy a problem for them.

not sure if good or not sure of budget but the original Lloyd Kaufman Troma Entertainment movies were dirt cheap compared to todays films, something like 200 thousand and they could be cult hits

they started doing trashy funny horror film again with Shakespeare's Sh*tstorm
and A Game in the Woods
Michael Herz , Lloyd aKaufman movie Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D. was trashed for being more stupid than funny

they also did a documentary of film makers dealing with French Police called 'Festival to Fascism Cannes 2017'
an inside look at their disastrous promotional tour

Toxic Avenger a kind of horror parody
