There is a chance Hollywood products could really struggle overseas.

China's own Heroic Epic film like Ben Hur, Clash of the Titans, LOTR or Gladiator. The Chinese movies pushed forward but does China match Hollywood visuals

Chinese films visual fantasy scifi quality has improved
but sometimes it feels like Tv show effects or a movie that was rushed, 'The Flash' League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Matrix Reloaded, Mortal Kombat, 'Green Lantern', Van Helsing, 'The Mummy Returns' , bad StarWars cgi not Sci-Fi Channel Original Movies or B-movie but they are lacking something
The amazing thing about Hollywood is when it did spectacle right, it did it very well, the sets, the CGI, the explosions, the mix of graphics with real life props. Terminator-2 and Jurassic Park still stand but other times it does not work
it is much better than it used to be
I feel the Chinese cinema still has a way to go to match Hollywood's visual ability to pull of the box office spectacle

I'd love to see them remake the special effects on The Matrix with today's tech.
As mind-blowing as that movie was in its day, some of those scenes are pretty laughable today.
Other than that, it was the Perfect Movie... At least before they ruined it with the sequels and made Morpheus middle-management to a bunch of pre-BLM retards.
