but there is a danger SKorea itself could push Hollyweirdos out of the international market if they have continued success at home and have no desire to be part of the weird tinseltown Commiefornia culture

I dunno. Today I'm hearing from a couple of people that Mickey 17 is a anti-Trump rant. I can't watch the videos to see why they say this, because I don't want spoilers to the movie.
I don't know if I believe them though because I feel like at this point some people are going to see everything that comes out as either pro-Trump or anti-Trump no matter what their politics are.
I was just telling my old man that we probably wanted to watch that one. We'd just watched Snowpiercer a while back (under the assumption that it was a sequel to Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory), and we enjoyed it. Then I get an email titled "Too bad" this morning from him with a scathing review.

I could have gotten past media messaging and at least given this one a shot, but then I found out Mark Ruffolo is in it. That's a deal breaker.
There's some actors out there I can still suspend disbelief and see whoever they're playing, but not Mark. He's a shitty actor.
