Wow though. From that thumbnail it actually looks like they at least gave Lara boobs this time. They did a reboot on the games maybe a dozen years ago and she was completely flat chested.
I remember while reading my Psych 101 book in college they had a chapter dedicated to what the future of video games and digital graphics could mean for human psychology, and Lara Croft got an entire page. This would have been before the year 2000. Even back then with early Playstation 1 3D graphics on cathode ray TV screens without any further immersion, there were a sizable amount of men writing love letters to Lara addressed to the development studio, with some even sending gifts and proposing to her.
These days kids can just download a free to play game on their phones and walk around with female characters 100 times more detailed than Lara was.
I wonder how many of them have "fallen in love" with their video game avatars.

"New" site? Hahaha... Gamergate predates my time on YouTube which was around late 2015/early 2016.
I guess they didn't hear about people getting banned from online servers for making mods for a Spider-Man game that removed all the Gay Pride bullshit just a few summers ago.
I'm sure they knew about that and celebrated it when it happened.
They're only "noticing" a political war now because they can't just come in anymore and ruin everything without paying any consequences for it. These people will all be out of jobs soon.

long story short 'Jermey Soule' started to go crazy, he accused people of sharing his music of being comparable to Hitler and the Holocaust and he himself is Jewish, he himself is accused of stealing money scamming and then hit with sexual harassment allegations.
He hated 'Piracy' and downloads so much he then only wanted to sell physical copes of his songs but his websites flopped, orders never delivered bad ratings...after people paying money and not getting their CDs, its a flop, so that idea finally crashes
then you goes on fund raising kick starter sites to fund his music, but that also flops and years later they are waiting for the music and want their money back?
ironically fans who paid for his CDs could never get them and only find the stuff they paid for on illegal download sites
People accused him of taking the cash which was thousands upon thousands in donations for making an album and fans accused him of moving the cash somewhere else into a venture with Roland Corporation they never got their CD it was a scam and cash instead moves to Virtual Sonics produced digital instrumentation for 'Roland Cloud'
finally he got hit with a bunch of # MeToo sexual harassment allegations
