Also a first for BC, half of the MPs coming back are women. That's for the whole house. And there have been more Indigenous MPs elected as well.

Alas, I learned a long time ago not to celebrate someone in office just because they were women.

There was (maybe still is) a organization called EMILY'S List (EMILY= Early Money Is Like Yeast) that did early fundraising for female candidates. I used to be a supporter, 30 years ago, until I looked into each candidate, and on that list I found a military - industrial shill - the equivalent of Californias 'B-1 Bob', who never met a military contract she didn't like. As I recall, her name was Harman.

And then there is Hillary, IMHO as twisted and psychopathic as Dick Cheney.

And of course, looking at the current crop of bimbettes (that is the most polite word I can think of) across the EU ...

I hope your MPs are better than that.

Saving money isn't popular with almost anyone.

Politicians have to satisfy their donors and lobbyists.

Each bureaucracy in DC, from Housing and Urban Development to the DOD, jealously guards its budget.

Constituents want their government checks.

The last President to seriously trim the military, I have been told, was Eisenhower.

It would take a miracle.

In BC they seem to be. The Green party's head is a woman but she's not sure if she is staying on as she lost her seat on Vancouver Island, so she is not going back to the house.

It makes everything so much easier for those who it is popular with.

Trump will be fine.
He will also be your next President.

Unfortunately most of us have been condtioned to be "consumers".
Retailers sell stuff people don't need.

Banks' #1 product?

Debt.

True that.

I wonder how much of my ability not to spend money on pretty much anything other than necessities comes from cutting commercials out of my life around 20 years ago.

I actually get a little resentful and even angry inside the few times I am subjected to a commercial that can't be ignored without me having to make the mental effort to block it out. My divorced folks threw me and my brothers in front of a TV half the time as the babysitter. I've seen enough commercials for three lifetimes already.

I have adblock on everything and refuse to watch anything that blocks the adblock. One of the huge reasons I have no inclination to get a smart phone is how many otherwise avoidable commercials I'd have to consume while doing things on it that are easily blocked on a PC or laptop. I don't even have a TV capable of getting the free digital TV and I haven't paid for cable TV since around 2007.

Somebody should do a study on that.

Don't pick me though. I am not a willing participant in your studies unless I'm getting paid very well for it.

So they can't fire up that Cern Time-machine and go back?

it looks like American Women are posting angry rage commnets because a celeb gave birth to the wrong sex, mad because Margot Robbie gave birth to a boy... reverse Commie China and Soviet forced abortion birth control politcs now? Killing boys instead of girls? might also be part of the Baphomet ritual masonic group anyways, go trans and they force hormones into the kid, turn into a girl like most boys raised in modern hollyweird ...for and for no reason at all, American Men stopped marrying the American Woman and started dating the overseas women, dating other girls form other places

There.

This shit right here is exactly what I'm talking about.

If this was a picture of anybody you hang out with last night, you need to cut ties with them immediately.

If this was you last night, I don't know what to tell you. I hope you have the number to a good shrink who isn't just going to pump you full of mind altering pharmaceuticals because your guy lost and your brain has been so damaged by the Legacy Media and your college "education" that you just can't cope with reality any longer.

Y'all need to grow up. I can't even picture an image of a single person who shed a tear when Trump lost 4 years ago today.

Trump is fine.
He is also your current President.
