Don't let it fuck you up if you don't get what you want when you wake up on November 6th.
Both sides will tell you 1,000 times per day that it's the end of America if your side doesn't win. Don't forget that they all said that the last two times too.
I'd recommend everyone to take a step back right now and try to pull their personality apart from the political void wrapped all around it. Wouldn't want to lose part of it in the event that your side sinks... and that shit is really, really sticky.

Fortunately I'm pretty disengaged.
I can even see positives to a Kamala win.

I am attempting to unwrap myself from your election as there is a mess with the one in BC.

Very tight race between the NDP and the Conservatives. They aren't finished counting but it looks like a coalition government with the Green party supporting whoever gets the final count.
You look up the history of government in BC and there hasn't been a coalition government since before WWII, during and after. Heck, there hasn't been a Conservative government in BC since the 1920s. After the coalitions they made with the Liberals during war time, they sort of fell off the political map up here.

Well the two people I'm least worried about replied, but good to know.

Trump will be fine.
He will also be your next President.

Quote:I can't imagine a coalition between the Conservatives and the Greens, unless the Greens have gone totally off the rails like it has in the EU. Greens and NDP sounds more plausible.

What happened to the Liberals?
AFAIK the Conservatives there have been consistently against your health care system, which, for all its faults is far and away better than what we have (or don't have). For your sake I hope the NDP wins.

I know what you mean. Greens and Conservatives wouldn't last long and have BC back at the polls. The Greens and the NDP polices do align more and would be more stable.
The Liberal party in BC became the BC United which then went down in flames as their people fled for the Conservative party.
Oh, I know they are and I hoping the NDP can pull off this squeaker.
So far the NDP is a little a head. NDP 46 to the Conservative 45. In BC you need 47 ridings to make a majority.
