Where did you find that Valley Girl video !! TOO fraking hilarious !

I'd heard the song, obviously, but never seen THAT !! Too perfect ! You NEVER see folks "act out " songs like that - EVER ! That is so freaking unique!!

Besides being a huge fan of the movie, 'Valley Girl', which is, imo, the epitome of 80's movies, the girl so reminds me of Cordelia, circa Buffy !! Not so much in a literal sense, but in the over all attitude. Too funny!

That 'performance' is like nothing I'd seen - ever! I mean, the 'acting' , and then the moving around the stage in between... is brilliant !

Seriously, I always thought of that song is a Frank Zappa piece, "featuring " Moon Unit, but they had her as the ' singer'. Really unique!

She made a very convincing Val gal.

*ETA* - I get why Moon Unit is dressed like a prim /proper 'Val gal', but why are her stage buddies all in underwear ? I mean, it does seem to come right from the scene in the movie, but I'm guessing that's not on purpose. It certainly sets her apart, but still... kinda weird.

I had a fascination w/ Mrs Richman ( Colleen Camp ) for the longest time. She was just sooo unlike any other actress... I think she was a returning character on Magnum, PI. too.

What can I say ? The 80's were awesome !

Colleen was great as Mrs. Richman, and Frederick Forrest was great as Mr. Richman. I would loved to have hung out with them at their health food store. Also great was smoking hot Lee Purcell as Michelle Meyrink's mom. What an amazing cast of both new and established actors!
