Kotaku was already doing poorly in good times. There is no way that they can survive now that Joe Biden* and Democrats destroyed the world economy and no company is even recognizing that June is Pride Month.
Remember how inescapable Pride Month was during the summer of 2020? When Coldplay's People of the Pride was played on the hour every hour on every radio station and every commercial break had pride commercials and the DJ's talking about pride events?
Kotaku is DONE.
And changing it up to "writing guides" isn't going to save them either. People already go to a site for game guides, and that's gamefaqs, which was bought by Gamespot. There are user generated guides that people have been making for free for DECADES over there. Real game enthusiasts, many of them on the autism spectrum, spending months creating insanely detailed guides for any game you'd ever want to play, and tens of thousands of games you'd never want to play.
Nobody wants to read a guide written by pink haired, potbelly, vampire goblins who died their hair with Kool-Aid and cat piss. These people don't actually know how to play games, don't really like playing games in the first place, and are only working at Kotaku to talk about Donald Trump and gay bullets.
They already shut down Kotaku UK in 2020. It won't be long until the rest of the site goes with it.
