THUGR: I've been posting about their collapse for years.
Since all governments eventually collapse I suppose you could be right. But it might be long after YOUR clock stops ticking. And since they haven't collapsed YET, it's a little too early to call this one.
China IMHO has made, and continues to make, some pretty bone-headed moves. I could go on about the things they do that look stupid to me:
Depending on western markets and exports in general to underpin your economy (markets can collapse)
Investing in grandiose "mega projects" like the Three Gorges Dam, and Belt & Road, which may never pay off
Jumping on the latest speculative projects (EV, green technology)
Allowing various bubbles to bouy up local government finances
etc
But they HAVE lifted close to a trillion people out of extreme poverty so credit where credit is due. Standard of living in China is generally rising, not falling (western standard of living is falling), and IMHO I don't mind if speculative/ paper wealth evaporates. And I suspect the Chinese government doesn't mind either.

You post a lot of stuff. You've got endless tick tock threads that have all lead to nothing.
Maybe I'll start a Tick Tock to the Nibiroo Apocalypse thread and that would come true before any of your predictions do.
China's not going anywhere.
And even if it were that's bad news for us. As bad as prices for everything are today they'd be ten times as bad if we weren't getting a bunch of cheap shit from them.
Look how much McDonald's costs now that we're paying employees $20/hr.
What do you think is going to happen to the prices of computers or cell phones if we make them all in house here instead of importing them from places like China?
Do you remember the days of paying $2,000 for a 33mhz computer when we still made everything? That was over 30 years ago now, so with inflation it would have been over $5,000 today.
You think your iPhone is expensive now? Just wait until you don't have 12 year olds building them for $2.00 per day in a Chinese warehouse with nets wrapped around them to keep people from jumping out the window and putting an end to their miserable lives so you can get an updated phone every 2 years.
