He couldn’t recall which years he was Vice President or even when his son Beau died. He said an ally in the Obama Administration’s debate over Afghanistan was on the opposite side.
Democrats are raging against Mr. Hur, but they should be grateful. Mr. Biden’s mental frailty is one reason Mr. Hur offered for not presenting the President’s document-mishandling as a criminal offense before a jury. His report is also forcing Democrats to confront the political reality that Mr. Biden’s decline could re-elect Donald Trump.
Mr. Biden compounded the damage with his performance in a rare 13-minute press appearance at the White House on Thursday night. He was angry and snappish. Worse, he confused Egypt’s President with Mexico’s in relation to Gaza, of all places.

Letters to the Editor: Could you perform like 81-year-old Joe Biden in the State of the Union address?
To the editor: Thanks to Dr. Daniel Stone, a geriatrician, for his understandable and clear explanation of an older person's mind. ("What a doctor sees when Joe Biden hesitates," Opinion, March 7)
I'm 76, and I get mad when people mock President Biden because he's 81. I'm proud of him for doing such a difficult job — and that he even wants to do it. I feel like he's our only barrier to an accused criminal taking over American government.
Why isn't that obvious?
I taught for 40 years, and I see when somebody knows what he's talking about. It's pretty obvious that former President Trump knows nothing and doesn't want to learn.
Last Thursday, I watched Biden make sense for more than an hour in his State of the Union address. That’s good enough for me.
Hang in there, Mr. President.

I don't give a shit that Biden* is 81 years old. I've never once mentioned his age.
He's a fuckin' meat popsicle. He's said on no less than 10 occasions that he wasn't going to answer any questions because he'd "get in trouble". He can't find his way off the stage. He extends his hand to shake the hands of phantoms. He fucks up nearly every speech he's allowed to do by misnaming everyone, claiming we're at war with countries who are actually our allies, or simply losing whatever point he was trying to make while rambling on and then looking at the cameras like a deer in headlights while saying "never mind".
The problem with Biden* is that he's not actually our President. He's a pinch hitter for Obama's 3rd term, and they only cart him out in front of the cameras when they absolutely have to, and they've got to get him all pilled up on Adderall before they even dare risk it. They probably have to put the drugs in his ice cream to fool him into taking them and feed it to him like he's a fucking dog.
And trust me... Barack Obama is the most disappointed out of all Democrats that it had to be Joe*. Even more so now that we're looking forward to his possible 2nd term and the prospect of an 85 year old Joe Biden* that will be borderline catatonic by 2028.
