Careful there, you whiny little bitch. Your fly is down and your CRT is showing. Nobody cares about your white guilt.
Almost 20% voted for your gal, Nikki Haley. Who was backed by the Koch brothers who you love so much.
You're such a propagandized meat puppet.
Trump got 50% of the vote and he hardly even campaigned in Iowa compared to DeSantis and Haley.
Tick Tock
Closer to 55%.
51% exactly, at least according to RealClearPolitics. Maybe somebody else is showing more.

That said, only 14% of the electric showed up to caucus. That leaves 86% that didn't bother to show up. Thats the real story. Who will that 86% vote for in the general?
That's not a story. If somebody you're reading is trying to make it a story than they're just lying to you by omission by neglecting to tell you that's how it goes every primary in every state. Any pollster with any integrity at all knows this and factors all that math in their equations because they don't want to be off by 20 points when the general election comes.
And if you think that the turnout last night is low, look at the primary elections in off years.
SPOILER ALERT: The off year primaries is when the school boards shove through unpopular referendums to raise your property taxes because they know that nobody votes in those things and they can get enough gullible parents to vote in favor of them by sending their kids home with fliers lying about how much it would cost them.
How do I know this? I was one of 600+ people who voted against it in the 2022 local primary but we lost to the 800+ parents who voted for it. I even got to see the flier that the local elementary school sent my neighbor's kids home with telling them the property tax increase for our city would be only around $20 per year when I already had seen that it was going to increase my neighbor's taxes by over $180 and my own over $200.
And the school board knew they had to shove that through quick because the MASSIVE property tax increase we all just got stuck was coming the following year, with another one we get to look forward to next year as well.
And the perpetual liars get to keep making more money while never being held accountable for their lies.
I've actually scanned that flier, but I'm not posting it here and doxxing myself.

GOP turnout for the Iowa Caucus was the lowest in 24 years
Just over 110,000 voters braved the freezing temperatures and icy roads.
For comparison, nearly 187,000 voted in the 2016 GOP caucus.
T
And yet the final tally was more or less exactly what the pollsters said it was going to be for the last 6 months.
I'm confident, as I'm sure the pollsters are, that being a pussy and not going out to vote when it's cold outside is a universal problem and one not relegated to people who vote for one candidate over the other.
I wouldn't get any more excited over this than I would about any of the legal shit that Joe Biden* is trying to put on Trump right now.
Those debates are going to faster

That's fine. They're just further crushing their own ratings.
Plenty of places to watch that, and nobody but Ted and a few other people watch MSNBC or CNN anymore these days anyhow.

Intelligencer: Trump Won the Only Real Ticket Out of Iowa
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-won-the-only-real-ticket
-out-of-iowa/ar-AA1n2q2n
Quote:
Donald Trump won half the Caucus vote against DeSantis, Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, and some other random names. He carried 98 of Iowa’s 99 counties, and led in urban, suburban, and rural areas. According to entrance polls, he trounced DeSantis among self-described “very conservative” voters by a 60 percent to 28 percent margin, and beat the Floridian among evangelical voters by a 51 percent to 29 percent margin. But Trump also beat Haley among college-educated voters and independents. He carried every age category. Trump showed no real weaknesses. His roughly 30-point margin of victory was well over double the all-time record in contested Iowa Republican Caucus history, even though he may have suffered from turnout lowered by brutally cold weather and the lack of doubt about who was going to finish first (as opposed to second and third, which was indeed a close competition as predicted). He was outspent by both Team Haley ($37 million) and Team DeSantis ($35 million) in Iowa campaign advertising (Trump and his allies spent $18 million). None of it really mattered.

Kind of...
And to be fair, he allows Republicans to vote in the Democrat primary too... Kind of.
There are quite a few states where the primary is open and you can vote for whoever you want to.

pes
As for New Hampshire, if somebody who is new at voting and/or has never voted in a primary before so they are unaffiliated and they are going to decide this is the year they're going to vote Republican because of their unchecked TDS even though they think of themselves as Democrats, they might want to think twice about that because they will be registered as being Republican and will not be able to vote in future Democrat primaries without jumping through some hoops.
Quote:
A number of states allow only unaffiliated voters to participate in any party primary they choose, but do not allow voters who are registered with one party to vote in another party’s primary. This system differs from a true open primary because a Democrat cannot cross over and vote in a Republican party primary, or vice versa. New Hampshire requires that unaffiliated voters declare affiliation with a party at the polls in order to vote in that party’s primary. In Colorado, unaffiliated voters must return just one party’s mail ballot, or state which party ballot they want at the polls. The choice is public information, although it does not change the voter's unaffiliated status.

Yeah...
Tip it right to Trump.
Remember all the people who said that when other candidates get out of the way that was going to put Nikki Haley ahead?
Didn't happen in New Hampshire, where she's spent her entire fuckin' nut.

She got half of Christie's votes according to polling at best. You know none of Vivek's votes are going her way.
When Haley loses NH, she's toast. If she stays in the race after that and loses her home state to Trump, that will probably end her career in politics.
