Me too. I hope that at least the screenplay gets some recognition.

'King of Comedy' many times better than Joker which was an ok film i guess but I have no true idea why Conservative Republicans were fawning over it maybe guessing here... because it got into that whole Left vs Right, Conservative vs Liberal political thing during election season???
Don't watch Joker instead watch King of Comedy

the thing about Asia, is it has A LOT of Asians from Thailand to Korea to China to the Indian Sub Continent to Japan... 'only a few people know about' takes on a different meaning and doesnt really 'qualify' unless you define it as only a North Americans or Aussies or few English language speakers know about.
Some small countries like Belgium, New Zealand, Austria, Hong Kong an ex-British colony, Finland all have good cinema

there will be a lot more if the Trump ban and tariff to support mainstream Hollyweird takes effect

Still going to say Ink like I always do when this thread comes up.
If you haven't seen it, go watch it today.
If nothing else, it is the best looking movie you've ever seen in your life with only a $250,000k budget.

A mysterious creature, known as Ink, steals a child's soul in hopes of using it as a bargaining chip to join the Incubi - the group of supernatural beings responsible for creating nightmares.

_q_ink
Also, I can't forget to mention that it has one of my two favorite scenes ever made in cinema. I've posted it here before, but here it is again:
Not really a spoiler alert needed here, because taken out of context I don't really imagine it spoils much. You really should go into this movie completely blind, but if you need an additional push, check it out...
