The old thread, http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=6922&m=117498#117498 , was getting too long. Here's the skinny: On Sundays 'round 7pm Greenwich (11am Pacific), a bunch (~doz) of us meet up in the Firefly room on AIM, and watch an ep or so of Firefly together. It's cool. Tuesdays 'round 11pm Greenwich (3pm Pacific) we also gather there, but most often we just chat about Firefly, without watching an ep.
On Super Bowl Sunday February 6, we watched the Message with commentary. This wraps up the series that we started just after the New Year, of all eps with commentary in Fff.n order. The program for next Sunday is wide open. Hope to see you there, Sundays and Tuesdays.

I learned something from this. Ever since the first time I watched the Making Of (How It Was) in Special Features, I've watched the series in Fff.n order, ending with Trash & the Message (after HoG & OIS). There are multiple threads dedicated to order, so I'll not recap the reasons here, but this is also the order they're listed in this site's episode guide. However watching eps with commentary, Alan Tudyk's jokes, and annecdotes about the fun everyone was having while shooting the Message, detract from the requiem inherent in the story, photography & score. I enjoyed the ep much less, and was dissappointed to be ending with it. Especially when I remembered the commentary that Joss did for Objects In Space. Clearly, that commentary was his farewell to the TV series. Fortunately for all of us, it wasn't his farewell to the story.

My SUSE setup died and I'm now having fun with the live Ubuntu CD - I'll hopefully be able to join y'all this Sunday (2005-02-13). Thanks for starting the new thread for us dial-uppers.

On Fat Tuesday, February 8, nine of us dropped in to chat a bit before either falling asleep or stuffing our faces. No ep for the VS, as usual Tuesdays, so I gorged myself on the pilot. Never can tell; I might decide to give up Firefly for Lent.

On St Valentine's Eve, Sunday February 13, fourteen of us got together & chatted a bit, before those of us with DVDs handy started watching the Message. Seems I must have decided agin giving up Firefly for Lent, but I wonder about Jack.

On Tuesday February 15, only five of us showed up to chat. I had to leave early so, I may have missed someone but, I doubt it.

Wow, I didn't post anything last Sunday. Well, I was there. Leastways, I think I was there on Sunday February 20. Whatever. Anyway, I was there early on Tuesday February 22, along with a couple of Brits, but all three of us left before the scheduled start of the VS. I have no idea who else may have dropped by.
On Sunday February 27, about a dozen of us dropped in to chat. Uncharacteristically, for a Sunday, we didn't even discuss watching an ep. Still no sign of Jack.

More folks have taken to dropping in @the Firefly room on AIM, any ol' time @all. Four or five folks found their way there Monday, compared to . . .
On Tuesday March 1, a half dozen of us showed up to chat awhile.
Since we almost never get 'round to talkin' 'bout an ep on Tuesdays, let alone actually watching one, seems to me we don't really need a regularly scheduled Virtual Shindig on Tuesdays. Anyone have another opinion? We can discuss it here, or in the Firefly room on AIM.
Let's watch Firefly on Sunday.
