Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday announced he will start deploying tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus on July 7-8, which falls days before a NATO summit in neighboring Lithuania.
The timing of the announcement was not lost on some officials, including Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.

But since THUR might actually be that stupid, I'm gonna explain to make it pellucidly clear.
If we see nukes positioned in Belarus as a threat to Europe, then the USSR, and now Russia, would have seen western nukes positioned in Europe as threats.
So if we want to point fingers at "who started it", clearly the USA started threatening first by positioning nukes in many nations in Europe, and Russia's action is just a decades-delayed response.
