I only knew he was in it because I just watched this last night.
Disparu didn't mention him or possibly doesn't even know who Alan is or know anything about Firefly. I just happened to recognize him in a brief scene he showed from the movie.
Gotta hand it to the guy, he's still looking great for his age.
Jude Law on the other hand, really isn't. I don't know if it was the Hook makeup to blame or what, but I didn't even recognize the dude. I thought that was Ewan McGregor.
Anyhow, it's time to fire all the RACISTS AND SEXISTS at Disney. Nobody wants to watch any of their Racist and Sexist "re-imaginings" which are wholly unoriginal and uninspired anymore.

But the Republican Party has veered quite far from most Americans on abortion rights, and in a contested race for the presidential nomination, a “head-on” focus will possibly mean a fight over which candidate can claim the most draconian abortion views and policy aims.
There’s more: DeSantis is in the midst of a legal battle with Disney, one of the most beloved companies on the planet, and House Republicans are threatening the global economy in order to pass a set of deeply unpopular spending cuts to widely used assistance programs.
Taken together, it’s as if the Republican Party has committed itself to being as off-putting as possible to as many Americans as possible. That doesn’t mean the party is doomed, of course. But as of this moment, it is hard to say it’s on the road to political success.
As for Joe Biden? The current state of the Republican Party only strengthens his most important political asset — his normalcy. He promised, in 2020, that he would be a normal president. And he is promising, for 2024, to continue to serve as a normal president. Normal isn’t fun and normal isn’t exciting. But normal has already won one election, and I won’t be surprised if it wins another.

Ron DeSantis Declares War on Disney
A handpicked panel of the Florida governor’s cronies has voted to sue the corporation after it clashed with him over his “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
The Sunshine State’s newly instituted Central Florida Central Tourism District Board of Supervisors—a handpicked panel of DeSantis cronies that includes a pastor who once took to YouTube to suggest that drinking water could turn people gay—convened an emergency meeting to vote unanimously on Monday to sue Disney.
Just what the tourism board intends to sue Disney over is not yet clear; the filing is reportedly scheduled for next week, and in the meantime, the panel’s chairman, Martin Garcia, is gesturing toward a blanket repudiation of the board’s governing mandate by Disney.
In the coded argot of DeSantis-branded persecution at the hands of the woke corporate state, Disney’s objections magically become, as Garcia puts it, an affront to the idea of progress: “In essence, Disney is asking a federal court in Tallahassee to wrestle back the hands of time to 1967, while this board is instead charged legislatively with bringing the district into the 21st century, with new and better policies and practices.”
But apart from alleging that the imagineers of Tomorrowland wish to preside over a legislative Yesterdayland, the point of the board’s actions seems to be the same one driving most of DeSantis’s governing agenda: a bid to flood news cycles with culture-war agitprop to elevate the governor’s profile ahead of his planned run for the presidency, reported to be officially announced later this month. In the bid to continually one-up former president Donald Trump’s own crusade against the sinister machinations of wokeness in our schools and corporate boards, DeSantis needs to be seen as a more disciplined and results-oriented Christian soldier battling the woke mind virus.

There is no republican book burning going on. They're just taking books with people fucking in them or having their dicks cut off out of public schools. You can still buy these books in bookstores and online.
The REAL book burning comes from the left, when places like Amazon prohibit the sale of books the ShitLibs don't approve of, and take movies like Gone With the Wind out of their streaming rotation and prohibit their sale.

I had no idea Alan was in this and I had no intention of watching it anyways. Last I watched something to do with Peter Pan was "Pan" with Hugh Jackman as Captain Hook. That was a terrible movie and I felt bad for Hugh.
I think the studios should just leave this alone.
