I have no idea how to submit a book. Altho sis used to be a technical editor that's an entirely different thing. Are there requirements like ... double spacing (for editors marks)? Or that the old-fashioned way?

It's been a good day.

There are 31Chapters and it also includes a Prologue. It came out to 199pages on this computer. It was a lot. When I picked up typing it again, I was on Ch.18.
There is double spacing between chapter headings and the start of that chapter. Then there is double spacing when you change certain points of view. Indentations too for paragraphs and dialogue for characters. Lots of things.
The editor I used gave it back to me the first time with red marks all over it for punctuation and like I mentioned indentations for paragraphs and dialogue as well as spacing. Once I redid it all those corrections she just had one suggestion. Moving a certain scene into a prologue. Which I did.

I'm hoping they were.
Her memory still isn't good yet, but I'm surprised at her remembering anything that recently happened. That could just be a byproduct of the hyper-stimulation she's had in the last week too with people being around her all day long instead of sitting in front of the TV all day. But it had gotten so bad that she didn't remember anything new after 5 minutes had passed before. The 2nd day I was there she had asked me if my aunt came to visit yet, and my aunt had been the one to stay with her the majority of the first two days she was in there. I didn't tell my aunt she asked that.
I'm sure the fatigue was caused by the poor oxygenation.
We'll have to see if she keeps progressing positively. She still gets winded easily right now, and she just barely passed the tests that kept her from going home with oxygen. But like I said, if you saw her the first day I was there compared to the third day the progress was excellent. I honestly didn't expect her to be able to go to the bathroom on her own for at least another week.
I've got to call my aunt soon and see if she got her to do any exercise today. I haven't gotten a call from her in about 6 hours which has to be a good thing.
Cancer test results should be in on Monday.

After taking too many days of, I finally got the motivation to do some yardwork and limb up an oak tree and trim the shiny-leaf mahonias (or whatever the heck they are. They were sold to me as mahonia repens and then grew about 6' taller than they should!)

She didn't get grandma to do any exercises other than just walking around to do her normal stuff because she is getting winded just doing that right now. But she IS able to do it, which is the important thing for now. One thing I neglected to mention the last two days in the hospital because I'm trying to remain positive is that she had an "episode" the last two days she was in there. I was there the first time it happened. I'd come back in from the LONG walk back and forth to have a smoke and she was hunched over in pain and complaining she couldn't breathe while reaching for the call button. I slammed that button and went out and yelled for help. The oxygen tubes had fallen out and were down her hospital gown. The nurse put the tube back in and hooked her up to the monitoring machine. Oxygen absorbtion was at 87% at first, but went up to 95% quickly. She had a pain low, in between her shoulder blades. I massaged her back and she said the pain was gone by the time they gave her some tylonol. I let her take that anyhow, but had it been codine or anything hard I would have refused it.
But then she was great the rest of the day. It was that night when I came back when she was reaching out of the chair for a hug.
After I left yesterday, the same thing happened while my Dad was there. This time, the oxygen was still in her nose though, and when they did the monitoring there wasn't any problems and her vitals were fine.
So I'm thinking this was just maybe a muscle spasm or something causing pain. They still released her without oxygen despite all this.
They gave her an over the counter pain patch and my aunt got her more at the drug store. Thankfully this event didn't occur today, so hopefully once we get her doing some workouts and out of that chair all day long this won't happen anymore and we won't need those patches.
