Of course its own unqiue artform with all different styles, coemdy have their own pacing and interaction, an artistic flow of language, there is a personal taste element to it. What one person finds funny another might hate, its all tastes.
Most conservative types have been cancelled by the big media global machine across the world, Leftism has taken over Hollywood and the BBC says they "struggle" to find conservative libertarian right wing comedians.
Some of my personal tastes what I considered funny and NOT FUNNY
Any of stoner drunk drug addict Joe the stoner Rogan's friends or more recent guests the cancel culture Amy Schumer types that would have him de-platformed and banned. NOT FUNNY - boring people, unfunny shit boring people on hsi radio show.

Joss Whedon when he wasn't trying to shove his political views I thought he could be a very funny ironic writer. I don't know what happened Joss maybe he started to lose it all maybe 2010 or later Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and 'Avengers' were good, the humor helped it make those box office records but I feel like he started to take himself as a 'brand' too serious and believe the hype aroudn himself oor maybe he got worn out by politics, divorce and accusations... Don't get it twisted. I never said anything about SNL being funny or anybody on that show being a legit comedian.
