permission to collect a list of words translated here

please can anybody that did translations for this forum give their permission to collect a list of the words used in Firefly and their translation?

here's the reason I ask:
there is a fanfic writer out there that has done this for herself so she could look up words when needed in writing her terrific fanfiction (slash m/m mostly, perfectly written).

if all of your permissions were given she'd like to put the list on a webpage, maybe give it or a copy to fireflyfans.net to host it right here.

she's not registered here and I don't really know her apart from being a fan or her fic. she never asked me to aks but here I am asking anyway. I heared of her 'problem' and it did seem to be a solvable one to me.

just post your opinion on this. if anyone objects nothing is lost but maybe everyone gives their permission and the fandom has gained something from it.

PS: I've never seen the list she collected myself but I'm curious to.

I would appreciate the ability to read some of the fanfic. I don't see any problem with her using what is written here, but I have not done any of the translations.

Perhaps Fireflyfans.net should adopt the
Creative Commons License. It's available here,

It's sort of a "Open" or "Free" Software
approach to copyrighted written works.

i was looking for translations for a firefly fan site i am trying to put together.
if you guys come up with a system or if someone comes out and says yeah you can use my stuff or if i could hook up with someone and agree that they email me the translations or let me know your posting them...... something.... PLEASE...

In my other post, for General Cuss words etc in this forum. Feel free to use any and or all of them. Although my trans have been in the Japanese language. As I mentioned you learn the fun stuff first. Then you build on the language and cultural aspects!!! Good luck and have fun with the language aspects.
