North Korea only exists because Russian troops grabbed the north half of Korea in 1945, the same thing as Russia is doing to Ukraine in 2022, grabbing half of it to create new nations friendly to Russia.

Signym, if the Russians had NOT gotten their factories moved out of the range of the German Army, there would have been 108 million dead Russians, not 27 million. If America had moved faster on the A-bomb, it would have been Berlin and Hitler, not Hiroshima and children, who were the first to die from A-bombs. And if America had A-bombed Germany, Russia would have been next, unless it retreated from Europe.
It took just 27 months to build the first A-bomb. Too bad FDR didn't get the Manhattan Project moving sooner. WWII could have ended 28 to 36 months after Aug. 2, 1939. At the 36 month mark, in Aug 1942, Russia was losing against Germany. The Battle of Stalingrad (August 1942 – February 1943) was a stupid, unnecessary battle because of Hitler's ego. The symbolism of capturing the city that bore the Soviet leader’s name evidently weighed in Hitler’s decision to divert forces en route to Baku to the siege of Stalingrad.

Signym, don't you dare repeat the lie that Russia had to attack Ukraine before NATO used Ukraine to attack Russia. NATO doesn't need Ukrainian territory to launch an attack on Russia. NATO already has five nations on Russia's border. A sixth nation will not make a difference. But there is a nation that can make a difference: Finland will be in NATO and on Russia's border, and has beaten Russia to death in several wars and during the Siege of Leningrad. Does Russia need a therapeutic beating by Finland?
Russians need a reminder from the Finns that Russians are best at dying for their country, being better at that than anybody else in the world.
