This may be hard for you to understand, but only certain kinds of Americans have a problem with inflation. I'm not going to describe them because you're one of that certain kind and that kind doesn't take kindly to being called stupid about money because they like to brag about how smart they are. But my Father was a millionaire when he died in 2001 and my Mother was a multimillionaire when she died in 2013. They did that all by themselves. No lottery winning. No lucky breaks. No college education. No cheap house that becomes very valuable, as has happened to many Californians. And no nonsense, unlike many foolish Americans.
