Maybe I wasn't watching much TV for a while.

But now, lately I see a whole lot of ads for Generac.

Maybe those pure Electric Vehicle idiots can start buying Generacs to haul around on a trailer. For use during all the blackouts

Just saw The National Desk story about Illinois being the center of blackouts for this summer. Libtards have stopped and prevented increases of energy production and stability.

I don't hold out hope that IL Libtards will be swept out of office in November.

I found the source of your electric car hatred:

The Culture War Over Electric Cars

ing-pushback-from-north-carolina

The Biden administration has made electric vehicles a top priority. The administration wants half of all new vehicles sold to be electric by 2030. Some states, like California, are setting bolder targets, while some other states appear to be moving in the opposite direction. Last month, the bill was introduced in North Carolina that can only be described as the most anti-electric car bill to date.

This North Carolina bill has one goal -- to keep people from buying an electric car. Will electric vehicles be the latest flashpoint in America’s culture wars? Legislators in North Carolina believe that electric vehicles are unjust.

The law requires that there be no free chargers for electric batteries while vehicles are parked for shopping. You must be billed the full price for the electricity. And if there are paid chargers, the stores also must have a gasoline filling station. Stores are NOT required to bill for gasoline. Trumptards are crazy, but smart enough to not ban electric vehicles from the roads. Even Trumptards realize that electric cars can't be declared illegal.

How is this story the source of my "hatred" for EVs?

I've already been very clear what the problems will be, but you skipped that because you don't understand math.

Nobody needs to pass any laws to keep people from buying them. Once a few million of you idiots are driving them around, nobody is going to be letting you charge them up for free. There is no such thing as free. The only reason that companies are even saying that they'll allow customers to charge up for free while shopping is because it's easy virtue signalling points on Social Media. It's especially easy to say this when a fraction of a percent of people are driving them and they haven't even made any plans to break ground to install any of these "free" chargers yet.

One single charge of your Chevy Lightning from 10% to 80% is twice the electricity the average US residence uses in an entire month and gets you 320 miles of driving with no load in the bed. The coal miners will be thanking you for giving all of their jobs back plus some. And of course the Government is going to want their taxes on your charges, so no... You will not be charging your cars for free while buying groceries.

(And incidentally, there's nothing in that NC law requiring that companies don't give away gas for free because OBVIOUSLY that will never happen. Democrats have sold a dumb minority of the public that electricity is magic and free, so the days of companies giving away free charges to customers will end as soon as they begin once they have the sticker shock of that first month's energy bill).

Once everybody's prices for powering their homes skyrockets and people start getting brown and blackouts because of the additional strain you goons are putting on the grid that already has problems keeping up with the needs, people who don't have EVs aren't going to hate the EVs. They're going to hate YOU.

The people who are going to hate EVs are the people who own them.

Falsus in unum, falsus in omnibus

What I see over and over, since I was a little kid first following politics when Barry Goldwater, Republican Presidential Candidate, wanted to nuke North Vietnam to win a war against Communism, was that the kind of people who would vote for Duke Nukem Goldwater, Nixon, Reagan, Bush, or Trump, have shaky minds.

Even as a child, I could see that the adults around me who wanted to drop H-bombs on Vietnam were stupid. They were stupid about H-bombs and they were stupid about many other things a 12 year old could easily understand. Unfortunately, I still respected adults who deserved contempt. I should have made the connection before I volunteered for Vietnam that these people are stupid in many things. Later, I realized in everything they do or say or believe they are stupid. They are natural born losers, the same opinion I had about many people, all of whom later voted for Trump.

These people are the living embodiment of 6ix's motto: "Falsus in unum, falsus in omnibus." A more complete translation: "A dumb-ass in one thing, a dumb-ass in everything, including electric cars." I stopped giving careful consideration to the logic/ the calculations/ the justifications dumb-asses give for what they believe. It's a time waste to listen to them. Their whole meager lives and all their myriad little problems which I easily avoided as a child are proof they know less than they think.

I'm afraid not.

Until you recognize the points I'm bringing up and admit you're wrong, you're wrong.

Be wrong at your own peril. (And Democrats are done anyhow, but this legacy will just remain a constant reminder to people why not to vote for them in the future too).

Up to this point, I've provided hard math and all of the plausible scenarios which will be the outcome of a larger amount of Leftists making the switch to EVs. All you've done is insult me and poor shame people who used to vote Democrat but won't ever be making that mistake again.

Your Lightning was an absolute waste of money, and you will be making the lives of other people worse simply by the fact that you own it and charge it.

The only good news to come out of this is that YOU will come to regret your purchase too, so everybody loses.

Public Citizen @Public_Citizen tweeted:

Why are grocery prices skyrocketing? Look at monopoly power.

4 companies control 90% of the baby formula market.

4 companies control 85% of the beef market.

1 company controls 79% of the soy milk market.

3 companies control 78% of the pasta market.

Break up monopolies.

I've wanted an electric truck for myself since I bought a toy electric truck that the great grandchildren can ride in. The children and I love electric trucks, but mine goes faster.

Not when you actually load it up with anything which, spoiler alert, is what real men usually do with their pickup trucks.

You also use twice the energy it takes for the average residence to power their home for an entire month every time you charge it to 80% just so you can drive 320 miles when it's just you with nothing in the bed and your fake grandchildren aren't in the truck with you.

By identifying Republicans, and only firing Republicans, Democrats can reduce inflation to zero!

Here’s why Larry Summers wants 10 million people to lose their job

Last Updated: June 21, 2022 at 6:03 a.m. ET

Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Larry Summers says there needs to be a surge in unemployment to curb inflation, which Federal Reserve policymakers say doesn’t need to happen for price growth to cool off.

According to Bloomberg News, Summers said in a speech on Monday from London there needs to be a lasting period of an unemployment rise to contain inflation — either, a one year spike to 10%, two years of 7.5% unemployment, or five years of 6% unemployment.

Put a different way, Summers is calling for the unemployed rolls to swell to roughly 16 million from just under 6 million in May.

President Joe Biden said he spoke with Summers on Monday, though he said a U.S. recession can be avoided.

The way Summers framed the numbers suggests he’s talking about what’s known as the Sacrifice Ratio, which is the link between unemployment and inflation. According to Jason Furman, the former chair of President Obama’s Council of Economics Advisers, in the 25 years before the pandemic, the Sacrifice Ratio has been six percentage points — meaning one year of a 6 percentage point jump in unemployment, or two years of a 3 percentage point increase in the jobless rate, would be required to knock down inflation by a full percentage point.

In May, the unemployment rate was 3.6%. What Summers is basically saying is he wants the unemployment rate to rise to a level that would knock a full percentage point off inflation. The core PCE price index was 4.9% year-over-year in April.

Current Federal Reserve officials don’t accept that there needs to be such a stark trade-off. The Fed’s forecasts call for the unemployment rate to rise to 4.1% next year in a way that would cool core inflation to 2.3%. Christopher Waller, a Fed governor, said the trade-off was less between inflation and unemployment, than between inflation and job openings.

Jerome Powell, the Fed chair, also said such a stark trade-off wasn’t needed. “Take for example in the labor market, so you have two job vacancies essentially for every person actively seeking a job, and that has led to a real imbalance in wage negotiating. You could get to a place where that ratio was at a more normal level and you would expect to see those wage pressures move back down to level where people are still getting healthy wage increases, real wage increases, but at a level that’s consistent with 2% inflation,” Powell said at the last press conference.
