It will cost more energy for you to drive 320 miles than it costs for most people to run their entire homes for a month. Often by 2 or 3 times in non-A/C months.

And even at today's prices in states where the price is still reasonable, that's going to cost you over $20-$30 plus whatever your frequent down time waiting for the thing to charge up costs you in lost time.

Let's not even mention how crappy your cell phone batteries start behaving the older the phone gets. But you probably don't notice that since you upgrade to a new phone every year or two.
