Russia keeps threatening with nukes

Putin tells the world, once again, that he is ready to nuke them:
President Vladimir Putin will send a "doomsday" warning to the West when he leads celebrations on Monday marking the 77th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany.
A fly-past over St Basil's Cathedral will include the Il-80 "doomsday" command plane, which would carry Russia's top brass in the event of a nuclear war, the Defence Ministry said.
In that scenario, the Il-80 is designed to become the roaming command centre for the Russian president. It is packed with technology but specific details are Russian state secrets.
Putin has repeatedly likened the war in Ukraine to the challenge the Soviet Union faced when Adolf Hitler's Nazis invaded in 1941.
"The attempt to appease the aggressor on the eve of the Great Patriotic War turned out to be a mistake that cost our people dearly," Putin said on Feb. 24 when he announced what he called a special military operation in Ukraine.
"We will not make such a mistake a second time, we have no right."
Less than two decades ago, U.S. President George W. Bush joined Putin for the May 9 celebrations in Moscow. This year no Western leader was invited, the Kremlin said.
The Kremlin did not respond to requests for comment on what Putin might say in his speech, to be delivered from the Red Square tribune in front of Vladimir Lenin's Mausoleum.
Last year, Putin jabbed at Western exceptionalism and what he said was the rise of neo-Nazism and Russophobia - trends he has returned to again and again when addressing the issue of Ukraine.

Which means all Putin's followers are the real Nazi's. With the introduction of cell phones and the internet it has become apparent the Russians who live by the lie suffer from learned helplessness.
Learned helplessness occurs when a person believes that they cannot overcome challenges even if given an opportunity to do so. It usually occurs after repeated exposure to mental trauma, abuse, and psychological maltreatment.

Russian Space Boss Warns Against Nuclear War: NATO 'Destroyed in Half Hour'
"In a nuclear war, NATO countries will be destroyed by us in half an hour," Roscosmos chief Dmitry Rogozin said in a post on his Telegram channel on Sunday.
Then the Russian switched to pious mode, as if he hadn't just made a threat to nuke Europe:
"But we must not allow it, because the consequences of the exchange of nuclear strikes will affect the state of our Earth," he said. "Therefore, we will have to defeat this economically and militarily more powerful enemy by conventional military means."
"Such a victory is possible with the full solidarity of the entire country with the army, with the mobilization of the state economy, with the transfer of the military-industrial complex and related industrial sectors of Russia to a military footing," he wrote. "And this must be done immediately and quickly."
In another post, Rogozin said NATO was "waging war" against Russia, using Ukrainian forces to fight a proxy conflict.

The more Russians talk about nukes, the more likely they are terrified this war is already lost unless they use nukes. They never clarify whether they want to nuke only Kyiv, nuke all of Ukraine, nuke just the 3 countries in NATO that have nukes, nuke all of NATO, or nuke the world. Maybe nuking Putin would be Russia's best nuclear option.
