Why Russian Men Don’t Live as Long. The probability that a Russian man will die before he turns 55 is 25 percent. Russia’s life expectancy is exceptionally low compared with that in other developed countries. While American men have a 1-in-11 chance of dying before their 55th birthday, in Russia the odds are 1 in 4. Here's hoping that many more Russians die in Ukraine. They deserve an early death for stupidity and obeying orders.

Putin now wants the Trump-Era Ukraine “Peace Plan” Central to the Mueller Report
The speed and extent of Moscow’s climbdown is just head-spinning. Three weeks ago it called Ukraine a rightful Russian territory run by genocidal Nazis. Now it’s voluntarily offering the Sweden model — a Western ally in all but name — and getting told 'NO!' by Ukraine.
Paul Manafort lost his job before getting a chance to push Trump to help implement a plan as president much like what Putin is offering in 2022 to Ukraine. Because of the Mueller Report, we know that Kilimnik pressed Manafort about it for months after that meeting, even after Trump took office and Manafort was already under indictment for his work in Ukraine.
The key to the entire plan, which would give a Russian quisling control over a key region and the ability to influence Ukrainian domestic and foreign affairs, was Trump’s endorsement.
Trump obviously never endorsed the plan, but this episode provides insight into what Putin might want from the conflict if he has in fact pulled back from his more outlandish aims ("Ukraine a rightful Russian territory"). The “Mariupol plan” is a record of how Russia might seek to influence Ukraine from within, without annexing further territory. It’s also clear evidence that Mariupol, which offers a port and the potential to create a land bridge to Crimea, is key to even Putin’s most minimal war aims, which is perhaps why it has been such a target for Russia in its Ukraine invasion.
As things stand, Russians still have not gained control of Mariupol, nor most other major Ukrainian cities. But if Putin won’t settle for anything less than something like the “Mariupol plan,” Ukraine could be in for more turmoil, even should Russia officially withdraw its forces and leave Ukraine, on paper, with the borders it had before this war.

Russia Is Lying About Evidence of Bioweapons Labs in Ukraine, Russian Biologists Say
At considerable risk to their own safety, 10 Russian biologists, including researchers who remain in Russia, have publicly accused the Russian government of lying about having proof that biological weapons were being developed in Ukrainian labs funded by the United States.
According to the biologists, documents presented to the public last week by Russia’s defense ministry as supposed evidence of covert “bioweapons labs” under Pentagon control in Ukraine actually describe relatively harmless collections of pathogens used for public health research. The comprehensive review of the documents by experts who understand both the science and the Cyrillic alphabet took on new importance on Wednesday, as President Vladimir Putin cited the imaginary threat of weapons of mass destruction near Russia’s borders as a justification for the invasion of Ukraine.
Before the recent crackdown on independent media outlets in Russia, these outlandish claims from Russian defense officials — which were amplified on the global stage by Russia’s foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, and its U.N. ambassador, Vasily Nebenzya — might have been undercut by interviews with Russian biologists who called the underlying evidence for the allegations transparently false. But because dissenting views have been repressed, and independent broadcasters shut down, Russian scientists have been forced to post their findings on social networks that are mainly blocked in Russia.
The first Russian biologist to make his analysis of the evidence widely known was Eugene Lewitin, who holds advanced degrees in biology from Moscow State University and GosNIIgenetika, a biotechnology research institute. The documents from Ukraine, Lewitin wrote in an open letter posted on Facebook and Change.org, do “not imply any development of biological weapons or even the use of particularly dangerous pathogens in the laboratories. The list of destroyed strains published by RIA Novosti and other Russian media outlets contains not a single particularly dangerous strain. The list contains only strains common to microbiological and even more so to epidemiological laboratories.”
More than 800 signatories endorsed Lewitin’s letter when it was transformed into a petition from Russian biologists urging Russian journalists to stop repeating the government’s “false, absolutely groundless and hatred-inciting statements about allegedly found evidence of the development of biological weapons in Ukrainian laboratories.”

The speech that Russian President Vladimir Putin made on Wednesday bore the hallmarks of unapologetic authoritarianism, Russia experts and observers said.
“We are well post-1934,” said Nina Khrushcheva, a professor of international relations at the New School in New York City, referencing the year when Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin began his murderous purge. Putin is an unabashed admirer of Stalin and has worked — successfully, in Russia — to rehabilitate his image, which suffered for years after a posthumous denunciation in 1956 by Khrushcheva’s great-grandfather Nikita Khrushchev, then the Soviet leader.
In his unsettling remarks, Putin lashed out at “national traitors” he blamed for undermining the war he launched against Ukraine.
“Putin really wants to take Russia back to Stalin days,” Olga Lautman, a senior fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis, wrote on Twitter. “He has always emulated Stalin, and this speech is definitely angrier and stronger than previous speeches.”
Putin said true Russians would “always be able to distinguish true patriots from scum and traitors,” presumably a reference to Russians who have protested his invasion of Ukraine in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Russia “will simply spit them out like an insect in their mouth, spit them onto the pavement,” Putin said of Russian “fifth columnists” with Western sympathies.
“The whole speech was pure Dr. Strangelove — bodily fluids, purification and what not,” Khrushcheva told Yahoo News, referencing Stanley Kubrick’s classic 1964 satire about nuclear war. “Very Hollywood, only it’s happening to us, not on screen,” she wrote in an email.
Putin clearly sees Russia as the victim, denouncing the “economic blitzkrieg” of Western sanctions in his remarks, a reference to Adolf Hitler’s favored mode of sudden, overwhelming attack. “I want to be as direct as possible: hostile geopolitical designs lie behind the hypocritical talk and recent actions by the so-called collective West,” he said, according to an English-language transcript of his speech provided by the Kremlin. “They have no use — simply no use — for a strong and sovereign Russia, and they will not forgive us for our independent policy or for standing up for our national interests.”

Putin has maintained that he needed to invade Ukraine to “de-Nazify” and “demilitarize” the country.
He also played on long-standing Russian feelings of inferiority relative to the West, reminding supposedly disloyal critics of his Ukrainian campaign that they would never be allowed into “the superior caste, the superior race” of Western society. The West, he suggested, sees Russians not as equals but as “expendable raw material” to be exploited.
The speech left Lautman of the Center for European Policy Analysis stunned. “Everyone soon will be fifth columnists as Putin gets more enraged,” she told Yahoo News in a text message. “There will be a purge from his agencies, military, and everyday citizens. It was really such a dark speech.”

Putin would be isnane to try take the whole country but who knows how his crazy mind works. On social media it seems Banks and Political buildings and Birdges and Roads in Mariupol are falling to Russia & DPR. The city was largely and traditionally Russian-speaking, there are Ukrainian but there is also a significant ethnic Greek minority in the city, Pontic Greek are an ethnically Greek group who traditionally lived in the region of Pontus, on the shores of the Black Sea, there are also minority of Armenia peoples, Turkic speakers and Belarusian culture, Mariupol is amongst the ten most populous cities in Ukraine.
What loss would Russia take?
In Afghanistan the Russian Soviet forces 14,000 + killed, 18,000 pro-Russian Afghan locals, 9,500 Russian or Soviets killed in combat, 4,000 died from wounds and 1,000 died from disease and accidents, 53,000+ wounded
A loss of 450 + aricraft, almost 150 tanks destroyed, 433 artillery guns lost, 330 + helicopters,
Russian in Syrian war, the Foreign involvement in the Syrian civil war is a complex web, I'm not sure how many Russians lost but some hundreds of Mercs have been killed, Hezbollah had about one thousand killed, most dying seem to be Syrian locals or foreign ISIS fighters.
Ukraine conflict seems to be a totally different war that can not really be fully compared to other conflicts.
However we have clear evidence of on the ground fighting where Ukraine resistance fighters are destroying Russians with Anti-Tank missiles.
